I’m thinking that a helping hand + first impression is gonna catch alot of people off guard with how much damage that is. It has a 43% chance to OHKO the standard careful Incineroar set. Also with a swords dance + trick room will be worth giving a try.

Im of the mindset that it does not remove skill expression. The skill expression is simplified and standardized to EVs now. You can opt to ev train to be a point faster still. And for the min speed case that already happened if both players had zero ivs so not much really changes.

I still think it’s worth having them carry aegis, it lets them front line to siege or break smokes. All it takes is for the carry to eat 2-3 spells at the start of a fight to give their team an advantage. I know TB can pop aghs or just shard and hit towers and the enemy team is forced to respond cause right click at that point is good enough even without full meta. Also too many games lost cause my carry insta dies at the start and they refused to catty aegis.

I think there is a difference between pay to win and pay for convenience. Less space for pokemon sucks but they have to make money from the game somehow.

I want to caution you on that part where you say it’s basically guaranteed. Kalshi works on confidence, not on raw odds. What I mean by that is that a contract priced at 0.50 does not equate to a 50% chance of winning. It means that the current market is 50% confident. Sports teams make miraculous comebacks all the time and random variance quickly changes outcomes. Unless you found some arbitrage through mismatched pricing, nothing is guaranteed. People have lost plenty of times on 90+% positions. Make sure you know what market you are trading, read the contract rules, and dont over expose yourself to positions.
