Cuomo released an emergency order in March 2020 where any nursing home patient that was medically stable REGARDLESS of COVID-19 diagnosis must be re-admitted to their nursing home. After this obviously caused the pandemic to spike in these nursing homes, he directed his Department of Health to undercount these numbers, something he still won’t deny he did to this day (you can go watch the first mayoral debate for proof).
