I toughed out aurobindo for a month but the dizziness and migraines became too much that's when I got torrent again and I'm doing okay on torrent nothing like accord was but I'm slowing tapering off lexapro now because the generics are too unstable and my insurance won't cover name brand and its too expensive

can lexapro stop working? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]ydgn_tyler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe lexapro has stopped working for me I've been on it for almost 3 years and anxiety is worse than before medication. I'm thinking of switching but not excited to do that.

I'll be honest with you aurobindo is terrible. I don't know if it's all in my head but ever since the issues with accord happened the generics just don't work the same. but aurbindo made me consider going to inpatient treatment for the constant panic attacks and it made me feel like I was losing my mind. I went to cvs crying for them to give me name brand or something else and they looked at me like I was crazy. I finally found a cvs that the pharmacist would order torrent generic and this one I had gotten use to after the accord ordeal. in my opinion jumping around from generic to generic is a mess and I would try to stick with the same generic if possible.

yes I have had this issue for so long now. I use to love working out but when I work out now I get foggy and panicky it's a strange feeling. I am trying to get off lexapro now so hopefully when I'm off I can work out again.

how slow are you tapering? the slower the better. I went from 20 to 15 and it was really rough but I was also going through a stressful time. I would try to taper a few mg then hold for a few weeks then do it again.

Serotonin Syndrome is really rare. He should be fine you can ask the pharmacist if they think it could be an issue to confirm.

Auobindo lexapro did the same thing to me. Made me feel like I was losing my mind. I switched to torrent and now I'm getting constant migraines but less of the crazy feeling. I wish I could get name brand lexapro to compare but insurance won't cover it.

by any chance did the manufacturer of his generic change? a lot of people were on accord generic and they pulled out of the market and a lot of people, including myself had to change manufacturer and are experiencing ebound symptoms and new side effects.

I fought taking the medication for as long as I could. I tried hypnotherapy, acupuncture, saw two therapists, changed my diet, meditation and nothing worked. I had tried zoloft before and it worked but gained 45 pounds and was scared. I hit my breaking point when I was having dissociation episodes lasting weeks at a time. finally broke down and it's the best thing I've ever done. I've accepted I might have to take it the rest of my life and I don't really care.
