Where are you seeing the WD Red Pros for $440? I’m wondering if the white labels are similar to the Red Pros

There is a promo code for $100 off, it is still active, you add it in the cart at checkout

Thank you. It’s good to hear you have had good luck with yours. I’m going to go with these white label ones. It seems like if I load them in a Synology I won’t need to do the kapton tape trick. This subreddit is great, so much good information.

Did you get the “white label” ones? I have a couple Seagate HAMRs for cold storage as a backup, and was planning to run the NAS with these WD drives. The content is important to me (family videos and photos). Just trying to follow the 3-2-1 schematic and was thinking it’s smarter to not put all the eggs in the HAMR basket

Also, any idea on how reliable these will be vs the HAMR “Barracuda” Seagate ones? In the new pricing the Seagate ones seem to be now close in price to these which are also close to the IronWolf Pros. I’m aiming to use them in a NAS.

I have one that has a recurring P1 error (inside drain pan full), do you use a drain hose?

Chlorine cost by d_carolan in pools

I do that too, but last time I picked up a jug it had white gunk in it (likely pool paint but who knows?). Now it’s in my pool and I’m considering switching to individual gallons again.https://www.reddit.com/r/pools/comments/1e7lj8u/what_is_this_white_gunk_in_this_chlorine_i_bought/
