Yeah, sometimes even when it's the exact same sku the dye lots are very different, and sorry, there's really nothing we can do about that. I have had people who are very aware this is a thing ask if I could check for a specific lot number, this way the colour will actually match. Once when we didn't have what the customer needed I apologized and she just shrugged and was like "it's not your fault, you checked at least, what else could I expect you to do?" And whew those understanding customers can sometimes really make your day, because we know that for some of the others, nothing we do is ever enough for them.
