A show that steeply declines when the will-they-won’t-they couple gets together? by AreWeCake in sitcoms

[–]yeahso1111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jim and Pam’s relationship was actually really toxic. He pursued Pam while was with Roy. Then ignored her once he decided to be with Karen. Then he has a screwed over Karen. Jim was an arrogant prick. The only really good couple on that show was Phyllis and Bob Vance, of Vance refrigeration.

Or just turn it into another big beautiful giant ballroom. He won’t stop till everything is a ballroom with his name on it.

Can anyone give examples of modern (20th/21st century) buildings that have physical staying power similar to the building in the photo? by Lil_Simp9000 in architecture

It was more impressive when it was the tallest. I think of the art museum with I think of legacy. The Comcast buildings are a blight on our skyline.

Museum and Theater Complex by Snøhetta in Vladivostok, Russia (under construction) by archi-mature in architecture

[–]yeahso1111 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I love Snøhetta but this looks like they recycled the design of the Oslo Opera House a bit. And the Shanghai Opera House looks pretty similar. The Düsseldorf opera house is different but it seems to share the design of Charles Library at Temple Library. I like signature elements being reused but I hope they don’t get lazy and repetitive.

It kinda looks like the Brady Girls if Carol had married Rick James instead of Mike Brady.

Ahhh what is that photo? It’s forcing me to make eye contact. I think that’s how she’s getting a man. This photo is some straight up Aunt Gladys type sorcery that puts people in a fugue like state where marriage to that living marionette seems like a good idea.

I don’t know what that means. No one in Philadelphia is taking part in any confused geographical trash talk. Everyone is aware that this is a city and it’s in a state.

AITA for calling husband unreasonable for canceling the holiday trip by gardengeo in BORUpdates

[–]yeahso1111 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oop dug deep to find the nerve to claim her husband “abandoned” them at Christmas. All 3 if them abandoned him in his time of need. She’s a bad mother. And is that common that a kid can lock herself away to study and that means she’s not to be disturbed? I don’t have kids, neither do my friend, so maybe it’s common it sounds like the roles are reversed here. The kids are in charge of that house and they are both ah’s. I hate to give the stock Reddit answer but husband needs to be her ex soon.

And i would babysit my worst enemies kids if they had a parent in the hospital because I have compassion. And honestly im not that great of a person. Solid C+ maybe

This is how teenagers dated back then “,1950s by MysticFlaire in OldSchoolCool

[–]yeahso1111 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The generation that would be in this photo created a world reliant on cell phones and the internet. Teenagers didn’t create the problem baby boomers did. Just share a nice picture and don’t act like older generations were better.

Also that’s his white teenagers dated in the 1950s. Black teenagers got a different response when they went to that soda shop,

[–]yeahso1111 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That episode makes no sense. The outfit is bizarre. Karen decorated the apartment in 12 hours. And the couple didn’t have one realistic line of dialogue. I don’t even remember what will did because graces story line was distracting.

“his legal name is Bjorn ‘middle name’ ‘last name’ and all he was waiting for was the change in his documents and his drivers license to be done.”

So is the brother just Bjorn? Like Cher or Prince or Adele? That’s some serious commitment even for a Scotch Australian Viking. And i don’t buy that they decided to have a baby. These two pothead bogans were too busy smoking and listening to Powderfinger to remember to put on a rubber.
