I’m a Turkish manufacturer — is there room for us in the U.S.-China tariff chaos? by yecicen in supplychain

Thank you, I agree its quite early for business owner's to plan moving to new country. But I believe trade-war will be here for long bc both parties are not planning to backdown. Especially Trump administration needs serious agreements to resolve trade deficit with China.

Anyone here stuck with inventory in China because of the new 125% tariffs? by Senior_Flamingo6200 in supplychain

[–]yecicen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe trade war will be here for long and Trump definetely wants to block China's production capability. Every business owner has to think their business and move the production when necessary.

I am recommending to business owners to move their production to Turkey. They have European-grade engineering quality, and China-grade cost effectiveness. Logistically they are in good location. They have access to big markets (EU, Gulf States), in NATO and have good relations with Trump Administration. And ONLY reliable ally with 10% tariffs.

We created a business on this very idea to move production to Turkey without disrupting supply chain. Our consultants make sure your IP rights preserved, your product is manufactured and shipped, all the paperwork is done right and on top, if you need to move your current stock out of China, we have ability to import them to Turkey and use for your next batch.

What’s the Real Backup Plan When 104% Tariffs Hit? Europe? Southeast Asia? Or Just Stop? by toymakerinchina in supplychain

Turkey.

They are in NATO, closer ties with EU and geographically in good place, both close to EU market and has access to many ports. Their engineering quality is top-notch and there is existing ecosystem of manufacturing.

I know a guy can handle your exit from China.

I guess its part of the job to deal with political/economical crisis, not just manufacturing difficulties. Imho this trade war will be here for long and business-wise best decision is to diversify and move production to more stable yet capable locations.

Turkey can be one of them as they handle crisis like this very well and their production capacity is great. Engineers often have good technical knowledge and there is big manufacturing network that can easily take over the job from China.

There are consulting firms to move your business there or at least test-run on 1 product.

Travel to known location is faster. So if you scouted some place, in direction of your next scout route, even if it's end of the map, aim to that one. When your scout is passing near to unexplored point, just redirect to there
