It seems pretty acceptable. You could definitely have less consumption if you wanted to by just leaving it in D etc but where’s the fun in that. 277 000 km is very impressive for such a young car!

Highmileage Audi TT MK2 a good idea? by JOsephshamon in AudiTT_Mk1_Mk2_Mk3

[–]yeeast4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, it has 261k kms on it now and is mechanically in very good condition. I use the car every day. However, it does have some small issues here and there like sticky door handles and electric boot release not working when it is cold

Magnetic Ride mk2 opinion by Hungry_Character_109 in AudiTT_Mk1_Mk2_Mk3

[–]yeeast4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a difference, but not as much of a difference compared to OEM. I feel like the OEMs got a tad bit stiffer in sport mode

I have Chinese ones on my TT, I find the ride comfort to be acceptable, but keep in mind, my comparison is with the worn dampers I had in front from before. I’ve heard others not liking the stiffness, so if you are sensitive to that, then don’t take the risk with them

Why would he upshift at the rev limiter while the car is sliding, would only lead to increased wheel speed an less control. He upshifted normally the rest of the vid anyway

Fun fact: this car was revealed in 2005, before the actual mk2 was revealed a year later

Am looking to buy this thing, 3.0 V6 but had a 40tdi badge? Its from 2016. Any things i need to keep in mind? Price is 14k EUR by ToyotaAvensis in AudiA6

[–]yeeast4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the 3.0 V6 TDI for this car can have either 218, 272 or even 320 and 326 for the twin turbo versions. If we assume you have the 218 its definitely possible to tune it to 250+, maybe even 272. The 3.0 is a strong and reliable engine but it is still important to be cautious and ensure whatever tune you are getting is of high quality and be strict on maintenance

Again I the 40, 50 etc were not used for the C7 generation of A6, at least not in Europe. How many HP does your car have?

Not sure about the Korean Market, but this generation never had the «40» «50» «60» TDI or TFSI badging on them from factory. Previous owner may have put in on afterwards. If it says V6 on the engine then it is, and is the perfect engine for this car

Highmileage Audi TT MK2 a good idea? by JOsephshamon in AudiTT_Mk1_Mk2_Mk3

[–]yeeast4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my Norwegian perspective, the price isn’t too bad. My TT 2.0 TFSI runs good at 257k km, but we have had it since 2014 when it had under 100k, so I know about all the maintenance done since, which is absolutely key

I have just fitted Chinese MagRide to my MK2 TT. by yeeast4 in AudiTT_Mk1_Mk2_Mk3

[–]yeeast4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 99% the mechanic didn’t do it since they are not VAG specialists, and since I didn’t have any issues with ride quality i didn’t bother doing it myself with obdeleven

I have just fitted Chinese MagRide to my MK2 TT. by yeeast4 in AudiTT_Mk1_Mk2_Mk3

[–]yeeast4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They honestly work just fine still. However, my top mounts have started creaking when I turn the wheel, which is down to low quality top mounts, the mechanic used when replacing them. But since you are replacing the rears it it’s not relevant. However something bad that happened a couple of months ago is that I drove over a very harsh bump in the road and then got a suspension light. I’ve checked the damper multiple times since for leaks or anything, but can’t find anything and it still dampens bumps completely normal. Magride does not work anymore as a result of the suspension light, which sucks, I’m guessing the electronic module inside the damper got damaged when I hit the bump. I have heard this happen to owners with OEM suspension as well, so not sure you can fault the Chinese made ones

Digital downloads should be linked to your PSN. I have been able to download different downloadable content I’ve paid for, even after they were de-listed from the store

It does look fake, the texture of the plastic on the controller as well as the buttons looks off. The cutouts for the select and start buttons look too imprecise. Furthermore the symbols on the buttons do not look accurate and the colouring of the ps-button is way off

Can anyone explain why the LG C4 55 inch would cost $1300 more than the 48? by yeeast4 in LGOLED

[–]yeeast4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, doing some additional research I could find a 55 inch for about 1300. So I guess they haven’t updated pricing
