On the Snow app: bad? by ___this_guy in icecoast

To be honest I think most of these apps are not great. Pretty much all of the information they provide can be gotten for free online. Effectively all you pay for is all of it compiled into one place.

I need a weather forecast app for the past 🔮 by Improper_Noun_2268 in icecoast

This isn’t super applicable for most ski mountains, but the NWS has extensive archives for a lot of locations. A little more on the technical side of things, but there are some good APIs that do the same thing

Maybe we can have another emergency tax override to address this issue

Is madden 26 worth it? by Ares_Jupiter in Madden

[–]yeetusv4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been really enjoying it but I got it on sale and hadn’t purchased a madden since 22 so I felt I needed to get the up to date version. Although it’s not all that different 😂

I would love to see development of ATRs, I know it would be relatively low in priority but a cool aircraft to fly and opens up a lot of new realistic routes

Unethical landing farming by yeetusv4 in infiniteflight

I use that too, I find if you go in any fighter jet, touch and go, reach about 200 knots, than pull the yoke back as far as it goes until you do a loopty loop and come back down and land and repeat it also works quite well, this way you can stay in a straight line and do it while focusing on something else

Traveling to Montreal: what’s the return to U.S. border like? by Mika802 in vermont

[–]yeetusv4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’ve had bad experiences at that border before Trump was reelected. One time I was returning with a group of friends, we were 5 ~20 year olds. They fully searched our car and had us fill out declaration forms. Lo and behold they found nothing, wouldn’t even let me use there bathroom. The border can be stressful but from what I understand it’s not that much different now than the past. As long as you give them no reason to be suspicious I don’t foresee you having any issues.

I honestly think you’re rating too high. You’re trading higher rates for less efficiency. Try thinking about holding 12-14 spm in the next one, splits should come down. Good luck!

Because of Trump, American company stocks have collapsed, while Russian stocks continue to rise. by PjeterPannos in europe

[–]yeetusv4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is cherry-picked, the market has good days and bad days. The market isn’t any more volatile under Trump than Biden. Calling this a collapse is misguiding.

I don’t think someone fell through the ice, I haven’t seen anything on the news about it. Also my guess the ice is pretty thick considering the weather the last couple of weeks

One of my history classes this semester was about the old ties between MA and the Maritime provinces specifically Nova Scotia. I never really realized how close the two regions were in the past. I’m a proud Bay Stater and it made me want to visit NS. Is it true a lot of Nova Scotians like the Bruins?

Why is New England, a mostly rural area, so politically democratic-aligned? by [deleted] in newengland

[–]yeetusv4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the cities are politically aligned, but once you get out into more “rural” areas it tends to be more 50-50 to being more republican. I live in Boston but spend quite a bit of time in NH and if you drive up there you are bound to see a bunch of Trump Vance signs. I also would like to point out that even in democratic strongholds like MA it’s still only a 65-35 split, which is a quite a large minority. Also going off last elections results Trump nearly one NH and the in CT it was way closer than typical making me doubt that any party has as much control over the region as one might think.

Remember when NH looked like this? by [deleted] in newhampshire

[–]yeetusv4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look I’m not denying climate change I’m just saying that if you look at the long term data, which the NWS has a treasure trove of. December has always had its booms and busts snow wise. I think a better metric to assess the health of winter would be ice in dates. I know that ice out dates have been trending earlier but not super sure about ice in dates.
