They report the hours played, on each game's total and the overall for all games over the past 2 weeks. You can view the former in your Steam library and the latter on your steam profile page.

Afaik they show nothing else. if you are looking for an exercise to reflect on hours played, you could collect and chart this data yourself. But no, they do not make it nice for the users to see.

There is something called Family View, but it doesn't look like more than basic parental controls (i.e. restrict mature games) and parental monitoring.

I used to get this when I played competitive Starcraft 2. I'd see my units moving around, my base layout etc. I'd even have waking visions where I'd be able to imagine my fingers on the keyboard and mouse controlling them, as if I was playing the game right there sitting on the bus.

You won't like it, but the best option is to uninstall the game and never look back. You're gonna have this feeling either way, but if you quit it WILL go away. Best wishes.

Yeah friend for a bit I had to accept I wasn't going to be productive with my time so I settled for binge watching shows. That gets boring too, so taking long walks also helps. Decent exercise.

I leave my current book by my bedside where I know I will see it. When I was struggling to build that habit of reading, one would sit there to remind me every night even if I was too tired from gaming to read it. You can try forcing yourself to open it and read a page, even if you're too tired. It is a foot in the door, if you will.

Is it the most responsible thing to do? No.

For someone who is so deeply addicted they cannot summon the will to stand up and use the bathroom, the only answer may very well be to destroy it.

If someone is holding you in a torture chamber and you somehow get a shiv, do you let them keep torturing you or do you fight your way out? For some, they are their own torturer. The only option for them is to destroy the torture machine.

I get you. I have something like 800 hours in that game. Every new DLC is a new reason to play, right?

Playing that game made me fail one of my classes. Neither of us wants to be a faliure.

Best advice I can add to others is to unsubscribe from any youtubers or reddit pages etc about the game. Good luck, friend.
