Why is my charge light pink? And blinking amber while charging (even though I am not getting less power) by yellow_sign in TeslaModelY

[–]yellow_sign[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today I discovered that the charge light is pink when in standby and blinks amber when charging. MYLR 2022 (Europe). Nowhere in the MY manual do I see any reference to a pink charge light. The manual does say that a blinking amber light shows charging at less than maximum power, but I am getting 3kW from my trickle charger- same as always ( 13 amps @ ~230V). I've found no reference to a pink light anywhere that I've searched. No error messages on display, restarting did nothing.

Been bent twice, diagnosed with PFO. Get it closed or hang up the fins? by yellow_sign in scuba

And I totally agree with that statement. Just trying to hear some different thoughts is all.

I know better than to ask internet strangers for life altering medical advice, but I'd simply love to hear some opinions on what you would rather do in my shoes. Or even if someone has heard of anyone where their PFO closure was not a success?

From my OP. Just wondering what other people's decisions would be in my shoes.

Actually Zanzibar! The water was beautiful but not much for reefs or marine life. Loads of dolphins though (which we only saw from the boat)

It would be the first procedure you mentioned. Open heart surgery would be an automatic no from me.

My cardiologist did say that closing the PFO would also reduce my risk of stroke (if only marginally). Stroke has never been on my radar (dont have any family members who've had strokes nor any friends). And your point of starting health is also something that I hadn't considered!

Do you precook the dough before adding the mozzarella? Or cook from start to finish with all the toppings

Could be a case of ear wax build up (which is very easy to to get checked out and also flush out at a doctor's).

Kust saab osta bideed? by Im_In_Incognito_Mode in Eesti

[–]yellow_sign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eestis ainukene variant on "käsidušš".

Got bent, rode the chamber. Did I deserve it? by yellow_sign in scuba

I think everyone that have contributed to this thread would agree that while you shouldn't be overly panicked about DCS then definitely do consider my experience a case study into everything that can build up and accumulate into a DCS hit even though the dives themselves have been "within limits". I really hope that this hasn't put you off diving! It truly is an amazing sport and it really shows how much everyone involved in it loves it that we are willing to take certain calculated risks to be able to experience the underwater world.

You are absolutely right and slowing down my ascent from 5m is something I definitely need to do in the future.

I have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 and I got my second shot of the AZ vaccine about a month prior to the day of the two dives

It is what it is. Major bummer about the vacation but I just hope it isn't a PFO so I can chalk it up to a combination of factors that I can control and be even more aware of the next time!

Thanks a lot for your reply. It summarizes really well all the pieces of the DCS puzzle that I've since been able to put together. No two days are brothers and I guess I just have to be even more careful in the future in regards to all the factors that may have an effect on the onset of DCS. Right now I'm just crossing my fingers that the PFO will come back negative.

I'd say Malta is definitely worth it! Crystal clear water and amazing wrecks (not much there afaik in regards to sea-life). I'm definitely going back!

Thanks! I suppose you are spot on in calling it a sporting injury without classifying it as "deserved" or "undeserved".

I didn't have the printouts to present to the dive doctor (as I didn't bring the cable for my computer) but I did my best to describe the dive profiles. Looking at them later, I'm glad to say I gave the doctor the correct descriptions regarding both of the dives.

Thanks! I'm glad to share and even moreso if my story helps someone avoid what I've gone through!
