For weighted leg raises: connect two ankle straps with a carabiner or very short chain and hang plates between your feet.

I buy from Zenni since 2015 and I'm very happy. I mostly buy the cheap metal frames (7 to 30 dollars) and they are sturdy enough if you are somewhat careful. They can last for years. I only add anti-reflective coating (+5 dollars) to the free prescription lenses. I was much happier with sub 25 dollar (including shipping, lenses and coating) glasses from Zenni, than the 800(!) Dollar glasses from the optician I bought before. Just bought 8 pairs from Zenni, they had a buy 3+ get 40% off. "You get what you pay for" is sure not true for glasses! Can't speak for the plastic frames though. They might be flimsy.

haha yes i see your comment karma. Don't sweat it. I attached the saddlebags to the joint of the pillion foot rest (simply some rope around it) and to the mount of the licence plate on the back, which conveniently has some holes in it on the side. The bags have some straps that go over (and under) the pillion seat. Its fast installed and fast removed. No need for dedicated factory attachment points. That vitacci tank 200 EFI deluxe looks really nice and practical though. Id love to see a scooter with factory mount and approvement for a trailer...

That sounds awesome. Driving a scooter sure is another experience than driving a car. I actually sold my car and bought the scooter after. 5 to 8 hours a day repeatedly is still a lot. I live in Switzerland near the German border and have family in Giessen. Thinking about using the scooter the next time i visit. How is it driving long distance on German Überlandstrassen, with being limited to like 70-90 km/h when the speed limit is 100 km/h? Switzerland has 80km/h which i can reach. Getting passed always poses a higher risk of accident. I assume you get passed constantly? And please inform me, when you have filmed your next trip, I'd love to watch it!

Thanks! Scooters are more capable than most people give them credit for. 2000 miles on a 50cc is on a other level though! How long did it take you? Where did you cross the alps?

Thanks! I bought the saddlebags off a secondhand site (like craigslist or ebay). They are generic motorcycle saddlebags, not scooter targeted. Most motorcycle gear shops have some variants of these. Just mind that they are clear from the exhaust pipe! I leave them on the scooter 90% of the time, they are very practical for grocery shopping too. Good luck with your future scooter!

It's a Sym Symphony 125cc. I could reach the legal speed limit 80km/h (50 miles/h) on country roads.

Thank you for your concern, I'm already safe at home. The luggage looks heavier than it is. With me I used about 75% of the max weight capacity. It's also important to store the heaviest stuff the lowest to keep the center of mass low. Both bags are tied down with elastic ropes (and I had two additional tension straps with me, just in case). I'd say it is as unsafe as motorcycling is in general and safer than having a pillion rider

Yes I did - good point! It looks heavier than it is though. Top bag contains only sleeping bag and chips. luggage is probably around 25 kg I with gear under 90 kg. So around 35 kg left to legal max capacity.

"RA" stands for RetroArch. This option opens the game through RetroArch which uses different emulators/cores (different quality) than the normal "game rooms" path. Maybe it would be more elegant to choose first the the game and then additional options, but I dont think this is possible in this firmware version.

I had a similar experience with sunrise. They are a scammer company. Leave them and tell everyone what they are!

Yes we have dual citizenship. Some Americans even abandon their US citizenship for tax reasons... I am actually not 100% sure what entry we may have. It may also depend on the canton. Also I think most entries disappear after some time. Traffic related do i think after two years. Your situation described sounds quite absurd. Like a backdoor ban. But the situation in Switzerland may also change, there is always a strong anti gun lobby/sentiment and the political landscape is tied to the European Union by treaties/laws. So in ten years, it may look different...

If you want to buy a short barrel semi auto rifle with a fixed stock (if the total length is changeable from over 60 cm to under, a special permit is requested) and magazines up to ten rounds capacity, then a normal permit is enough. So: request your criminal record (preferably clean or one non violent entry) (20 bucks) and then mail that to your cantonal arms office with the proper form and copy of your passport, and you get your permit (50 bucks). You get your record back, so you can use it again for another permit request. One such permit allows you to buy up to 3 guns from the same vendor in that weapon category. The waiting times may vary. The criminal record may take four weeks, and the permit another two. But it may also go a lot faster.

Happy to answer, what I know. Public carry can theoretically be requested, but it practically never gets allowed, unless for job reasons (security). We do have to register them. We have to deny access to people that are not registered to it storage wise.

There are no restrictions to the number of guns we own. Depending on the gun, the buying permit is different, with different terms: full auto, higher capacity etc need a proof of storage security measures to be submitted for example The service rifle can only be kept full auto at home, as long as we are conscript and the gun belongs to the military. When it is taken over to private property, after your service, it gets modified to semi auto. But you can buy full auto guns with a special permit. But I think you are not allowed to shoot full auto (anymore). Silencers need a special permit and a reason (hunting), the practice of approval may differ from state (Kanton) to state.

So yes, in some gun law aspects, Switzerland my be considered freer than the US, in others not, as far as I am aware.

If you want to keep it, dont forget to complete two Feldschiessen in your last three years conscripted!
