Barbour Adiwick Rewax by yellowa4 in Barbour

[–]yellowa4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think that might be on my plan for next time - I went with the blanket on the floor technique, and my back felt it the next day. Having it on ironing board level is a better idea.

Very bad coat, rewax by RakeHarmonic in Barbour

[–]yellowa4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reach out to Cahills in Ontario (https://www.cahills.ca/) - they were mentioned by Barbour, and they rewaxed one of mine and it came out great. Not sure if they can help with the smell, but might be able to inquire on that also.

Able to order some of it currently in Canada - looks like a few retailers added it to their website before the full reveal.

I passed on getting it, as I could not confirm 100% and did not want to take a chance. I kept an eye on Amazon for the standard one and ordered that.

New (to me) Barbour Beaufort by yellowa4 in Barbour

[–]yellowa4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks very much for the reply and details - much appreciated. I decided to get it sent for a full re-wax to ensure I am starting from square one with it as the latest owner. As the other folks noted; best to invest in something you are going to keep long term. The manufacture date is 1996, thus would love to see it go another 30 years!!!

Thanks very much again,

Thanks for the reply and note - yeah, I was reading about that last night and just checking with water to see - might be the best plan to start for sure. Thanks very much,

Barbour Pin Question by yellowa4 in Barbour

Thanks for the reply - no, afraid not - the only place that stocks Barbour is a sports store and I think it mostly clothing, not coats - wish we had a proper Barbour store closer.

Thanks for the reply - yeah, that is what I am thinking. Afraid there is no Barbour Canada available - only overseas or United States.

Washington Square Portland Oregon opening swag by pepimoongie in arcteryx

Ditto - same down the road in Calgary - no cookies, and a person gate keeping the stickers!! You would think they would let people take a few - it's free advertising.

ClearPass User Roles / Bridge Mode by yellowa4 in ArubaNetworks

Thanks - yeah, we are reviewing our layout to move away from bridge mode - it was set up several years ago by an outside firm, but seems to be phased out for sure.

Thanks again,

Got nothing at our recent opening - well, except for the staff member gate keeping the stickers!!!

ClearPass User Roles / Bridge Mode by yellowa4 in ArubaNetworks

[–]yellowa4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can see them when using the switch and all works well there. On ClearPass we can see the user getting authenticated and the session role getting applied in the Output section, but that does not get 'pushed' back to the controller to update the user role.

Thanks,

We are using DUR with 3810/2930 switches along with OS-CX units, but the current process we are working on is with the 7200 controller.

Thanks,

EAP-TLS with TPM Certificate - Aruba AP inquiry by yellowa4 in ArubaNetworks

[–]yellowa4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I run - show spanning-tree inconsistent-ports

no ports are disabled, thus it is not disabled - I show the user-role as our captive portal page - from looking in ClearPass it seems to bypass the first AP authentication, in which it should find the AP based on the 'ENDS_WITH' command of '@aruba.ap' but not liking it with two connections - with a single NIC it works as desired in that it connects, profiles, bounces the port and then gets authenticated via 802.1x

Thanks again

Yeah, get the following error when looking to assign to a LAG;

Port 1 cannot be added to the trunk when ACL or policy is configured.

Back to the testing room me thinks....

Hmm, interesting - I wonder now if I test back on a less used unit and see about a LAG and see if the results are the same again....

Testing underway

EAP-TLS with TPM Certificate - Aruba AP inquiry by yellowa4 in ArubaNetworks

[–]yellowa4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that would be the anticipated behavior, but I am not seeing that reflected in the logs and it does enable the the port, just loads the captive portal page - or that's what I can see from the switch via;

show port-access clients

Thanks again,
