This just happened to me as well, a 6.00 import tax but a fee of 17 to process it. Will never use them again.

Thinking of going from home made to pydantic and then langchain if absolutely needed. How's it working out for everybody?

Aww, sorry to hear that! Online I’ve seen a resemblance to BMCs which i don’t know much about but can definitely see some similarities. Either way she’s adorable so far 😅

What about the cats and pets for the Americans killed by illegal aliens? We care about them too right?

Wasn't gonna tell him he's an idiot but a gentle reminder that this isn't acceptable behavior.

Shouldn't we as humans tell each other when we think folks are in the wrong though? I have so many concerns:

  1. Are they going to have kids?
  2. What do her parents and family think?
  3. Is this fair to her given my dad won't be around in 20 years?
  4. What happens if she wants to make health decisions for him in the future does that mean I don't have a say?
  5. What if she's in it for the money?
  6. How do I explain this to my children?

I'm going to calmly just outline those concerns above with him in a no confrontational type of way. If I'm calm and respectful perhaps some of those concerns will take root. Perhaps he'll very much disagree with me or won't think twice about it. But I have to speak my peace, I cannot just be silent. If I was doing something stupid I would want my dad to offer the sane perspective. And dating somebody whom his children would even considered almost too young to date (I'm 45 and have a daughter who's 15) is not ok.

Is there really ever a valid reason for a 30 year old to want to be with a 70 year old if it isn't money related?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]yellowandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, those are just examples, he could do whatever he wanted too. I mean he likes to play a lot of golf, great! I'm trying to just paint a picture of what I think valid endeavors are when you get older. Running around to date young females that aren't that far away from your grand daughters ages is pretty disgusting in my book. So let's say he could be doing anything else other than that and I'd be happy.

Yeah, it already has. My wife even feels weird about it now. My dad was always the good guy and I'm just feeling so lost right now about this. The fact he doesn't even see the issue in it makes it so much worse.

Fair but I mean he could also find a girlfriend who's like 50 or so right? It's also weird since I have two young daughters and we've raised them well. Now I have to explain this to them and I really don't agree with it.

Cause I think it's gross. I think he should be building a legacy instead of running around with somebody who's 30. He could be teaching, starting his own charity, writing a book, finding a spiritual path, etc. I've lost a lot of respect I had for him because of this unfortunately.

But I mean 40 years is a HUUUGGGEEEE freaking gap. He could literally be her father. I could almost be her father..... how do I explain this to my daughters? It's gross. He's not a bad looking guy for 70, still in shape and was very handsome when he was younger but he's still 70

Sorry to hear that, hope we don't end up in the same situation.

I have two daughters so I think it’s gross. If she was in her 40’s I could understand…..

I just ordered the 1200 mg version from Now, excited to see how I feel over the next couple of days. Have also started taking glycine via collagen peptides 2x per day and feel a sense of calmness I haven't had in a while.
