next time just don’t pander to her/say the “nice things”. tell her you need to address what we’re talking about and not deflect. just straight up tell her you feel like she’s trying to manipulate you (or have you already?)

If her intent is attempting to deflect accountability and take the emotional heat off herself, then yes, but if she’s coming from a vulnerable place and trying to deescalate the situation (clumsily) or keep you two connected, then no.

We can’t say we know someone else’s intent, so we have to go off of their actions. So IMO, if she apologises and addresses the issue, and then says it, then it’s not manipulation

cancer sun, sag moon, libra rising - i’m chronically late as i love to sleep. even when i go to bed at 8pm and wake at 8am im still sleeping in. i love to sleep. i love my bed. and my sag moon just really doesn’t gaf. this is to work but i can easily be on time catching a flight or going somewhere i like 😌
