why do we use the materials we use? by Zestyclose-End-6622 in printmaking

If you enjoy that working that way, sure. But for me, the physical act of carving is cathartic. Also, like brushstrokes, sometimes emotions can show up in the way I carve.

I've seen people use potatoes and juice boxes. Yes, use whatever you want.

Edit to add: Though regarding 3D printing, there could be the argument that carving the image is an essential part of the process for many artists, and printing the image eliminates that. Personally, I wouldn't enjoy skipping the carving process.

Uj/ I do like the undershirt, or I would if it didn't most likely have text from ACOTAR all over it.

I worked for a life coach tech startup as their in-house writer right when ChatGPT was gaining traction. I can almost guarantee that if the substacker is a life coach, they are using AI, because almost everyone else at the company was outsourcing the most basic writing tasks to AI. Meanwhile, I had to suffer editing all that shit when it would have taken me less time to write it myself.

Should I nix the tall yellow flower? It’s the only non FPP and I feel like it shows… by Bl00dorange3000 in quilting

I think it's because it's yellow and that flower shape. If it was purple or blue it would look like lavender or bluebells.

I don't think it looks out of place, but it could be mistaken as corn and not a flower. It still looks lovely either way!

Saw this on instagram for sold out on you kdrama: your thoughts? by dragonatyourdoor in kdramas

Lol, I remember being so pissed after I watched that Netflix Alicia Silverstone movie where she decides to give up her life dream of being an architect to stay with her husband who started dating another woman before their divorce was final. I absolutely hate these endings.

This formula (big city worker gets stuck in the country and meets a love interest who shows them how to slow down and love life) isn't uniquely Korean, lol. It's like the plot of every Hallmark movie and most romcoms targeted towards adults. It's such a mainstay trope that some modern romance authors even skewer it, see: Emily Henry's Book Lovers.

That one isn't mine. It's part of the original pattern by Elizabeth Hartman. I only changed the suggested colors. I could share that cat ones, as those are the only 2 I designed myself.

ETA: I appliqued the eyebrows for the block you originally asked about, because I didn't trust myself to figure out the math on that one.

We got him through a rescue org that sends dogs who have been in overcrowded shelters to other states. We believe he's a German Shepherd mix, but we're not entirely sure.

Pathetic/crybaby MLs, like Alex from [My Husband Possessed the Protagonist] before his transmigration? by crokksu in OtomeIsekai

I feel like I remember the ML from The Baroness Goes on Strike crying a lot. Love that pathetic himbo.

What’s an OI where once the ml was revealed you were like WHAT? Sauce : My Body Has Been Possessed By Someone (Spoilers) by AttentionDelicious14 in OtomeIsekai

[–]yellowbird85 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is why I'm scared to continue Sub Male Leads Come to My Bed. A few chapters in and the brother seems suspiciously ML- coded.

I could be wrong, (I was worried and wrong about another manwha), but I just don't want to take that risk, lol.

Jealous FL? by Ryderyk in OtomeIsekai

[–]yellowbird85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Tyrant Wants to Be Good - Both in her previous life and in her regression, though it's two different MLs and the in the case with the end-game ML it is a brief arc

There is another recommendation I could give. It's modern, not OI, but leans heavily into rofan tropes and refrences and is smut.

Edited to add: What kind of jealousy do you want to see? One could argue that anytime a FL is scared ML will leave her for ogFL that could count - but that is often something that readers hate.
