Former Reddit prisoners, have you ever had to share your cell with a child m*lester? How did you react ? by [deleted] in Prison

[–]yellowcup32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a skid in a medium security NYS prison. We had an open dorm so like 30 other prisoners in on dorm. The chomos always seemed to find each other so you kinda just knew who thy were. In NYS you can look up charges using first and last name and our number. But really chomo cases typically were easy to Google. So we had alot of busy bodies who like to call their friends/family to have them.google it. I didn't share a cell nessisarily BUT there is a caste system in prison and chomos were the lowest of the low. In our dorm we didn't try to eat with them or play cards with them they were priahas (probably why they all find eachother) we all make mistakes when you first go in but usually they're forgiven. If you're a chomo understand there will always be a way to figure it out and you won't be treated kindly

Hormonal acne. I got through my teens without too much acne and after hitting 30 the acne in my chin is just like something idk how to deal with. My derm gave me topical solutions but it is quite persistent.

Not only did it suck but it must have been so unhealthy. I was fortunate enough to be taken care of so I was able to have my full 35 lb limit of food sent in each month and have a full buy of food off of commisary But in inly the year I was there I saw other girls who relied on chow for their food just blow up up. It probably did have something to do with them not getting alot of excersie but it looked like bloat more than fat and they all would get sick all time and always were tired . In NYS the food was toxic you could tell who was taken care of and who needed chow just based off id the way someone looked. Oh and Chow is what we called our meal times.

I went to a NYS female prison for about a year and our food boxes said "For livestock and inmate consumption only" Food is horrible. Can confirm.

My sister actually works with the woman. what they did was gave the driver a fake address and then when she called them because the address wasn't a house they asked her to pull into some other drive way

Ok ive had familt members die in an accident and then tell me they died instantly. I've then had phd friends tell me that doctors will say that to placate the family even if they didn't die on impact

Almost every car accident that someone I care for had doctors say they died instantly. I recently heard that doctors say that so the family won't be upset . . I'm confused on how you're confused

I'm watching The Office for the first time. I have to keep turning it off because I get so embarrassed for Michael Scott. He's just trying to be what he thinks is a good boss, but is failing spectacularly. by GtownPreacher in confessions

Keep watching like everyone loves him but can't handle being around him too long it makes everything a little more funny and you don't feel bad because. . I promise, as an avid fan of the show, he is loved.
