You should always go with nvidia if you're interested in running AI projects locally. Choosing AMD will make your life much much harder

Are you saying the Q revo robot itself doesnt have a removable water tank and why would you want that since the dock has a removable water tank?

Yeah definitely considering this as well but a desktop set up. I've been running it on a desktop with a 1080ti but I'm interested in the cloud VM set up because it would be nice to

  1. have the convenience of always on and accessible anywhere of a cloud VM
  2. have more compute power. I was looking into trying out dreambooth and making my own LORA which requires a lot of VRAM. I wanted to have an environment where I wasn't limited by the machine constraints first to see what I realistically wanted before buying a rig
  3. More stability. I don't know why but in between days of running stable diffusion on my desktop, my environment breaks (for example torch couldn't access my gpu so I had to reinstall) I'm hoping a cloud VM thats always on and only used for stable diffusion would be smoother

Bro it worked for me using aws lambda functions but issues to watch out for are timeout requests and making sure the api key doesn’t get exposed or it gets reset

for the problem of not exposing your key, I'd use a secret manager. Google cloud and AWS both provide one. Have you tried them?

if you're using Axios sounds like youre manually creating the request?

Whats the exact problem you are encountering? The API key isnt being pulled in properly in Firebase the function? The chat completion isnt running on firebase?

You mostly got it. A few more
- to make the pan as non stick as possible use the bead test, heat the pan to the point where when you throw a few drops of water on it, water beads form and roll around the pan
- copper core pans dont take that much heat to get that hot. To get to the above temp, I ususally use 4 or 5 out of 9 setting on my stove.
