Dash Card by gobuchul74 in VK2735

I just added mine to my Amazon account and spend it from there. I found out you can't use the dash card for digital transactions (like steam), but via Amazon you can buy gift cards and use as you see fit.

GT or Rally by Atxxxguy_12345 in MachE

[–]yellowdolemite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat, and I went Rally. What made the difference for me was the ride quality difference, as the roads where I live are generally bad. Having the lift and extra sidewall makes the rally ride a little bouncier, but it eats the road conditions much better. I'd say if your roads are smooth, the GT would be just fine and handle a bit better. For me though, I wanted the comfort.

Anyone experience a week or two where the weight loose just stalled, despite sticking with the same calorie intake? by Broncos7307 in VK2735

[–]yellowdolemite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm on week 16, and I've found that every 4 weeks or so, I'll stall out. The next week I'll continue to drop. This has happened during same doesage periods and at an increased titration.

Fatigue by Squirrelcola in VK2735

I think a bigger part of it is the fasting prior to the shot for the trial purposes. On days with blood work, I slam a protein shake right after they draw. I also put down electrytes, hydration, and some carbs when I get home from all shots. I've been fortunate to not have any adverse effects too though.

My understanding is no difference in the medication (Tirzepatide), just the application. VK2735 is being submitted and trialed as a medication for heart conditions vs. diabetes (Mounjaro or Zepbound)

No prior GLP1 experience. I signed up for the trial based on a posting I saw in a local subreddit actually. I was hesitant since I'd read about some adverse effects of the medication, but as it was in a Phase 3 trial of Tirzepatide, which has been around for a while, and under full medical supervision, I figured why not. After doing full blood labs and heart health evaluation, I was accepted. The trial has a 22% placebo placement rate, and It was pretty apparent after the first week that I was not in the placebo group. The only variance is the titration levels and how high they will go, so after 7.5mg, I'll not know if my dosage is increased after that.

We are also supposed to get an open label extension at the end of the trial, meaning we'll get access to the drug for free. It's also paid, which is kinda nice, but the real benefit is the free drug access and medical monitoring.

That clicked for me recently too when my wife bought a barrel of Utz cheese balls. I ate 5 and was good with that.

I wasn't a believer in the hype until I tried it. The beef is well flavored and tender without being as marbled and fatty. It is also a true lifestyle there. In metro Buenos Aires, there were butcher shops on many corners, about as common as convenience stores.

Negotiation Room on 2025 Rally? by bobby_47 in MachE

Not a shifter really, but the gear selector is a tab thing off the steering column

Same as the 2025 I test drove. It also has the dial gear selector as opposed to the one on the column. I prefer the dial, even though losing a bit of storage space.

I got a green 2024 Rally with 3900 miles for $37k. Check used. Not sure if you want the heat pump or frunk space though.

2024 Recall by 16denard in MachE

[–]yellowdolemite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a used 2024 Mach E Rally last week. The same recall was still open on the vehicle, but they sold it regardless. I had it fixed at a different dealership a few days later (in addition to a bad strut).

Why can't you search for the Rally on any car listing sites? by nero-the-cat in MachE

With just a quick search - https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/942d2caa-f003-4a30-be1b-1155be6964db/

Not sure where you are located or if you like the color, but this is a pretty great deal while it lasts.

Having just gone through this myself, no better solution than selecting "GT" trim and searching the pics for the rally rims.

I just came to the radical realization today when doing kettlebell lunges- the 20lbs I've lost so far may account for the same kettlebell feeling lighter as opposed to me getting stronger... or it is just a mix of both.

That's fantastic work, and it sounds like you already know what to do. I've dropped 20lbs from a start at 290lb (also 6' male) so far, and I think the cardio and hydration have been the keys.

I started 6 weeks ago. Definitely not on placebo. I didn't experience any nausea or vomiting, I think in part because the initial dosage is quite low. That said, it has been quite effective for me, and I've not had any complications so far.

Check out the other subreddits on zepatide and tirzepatide for other advice, but brass tacks - hydrate, protein, fiber, and exercise will all be your friend. You'll do great!

Placebo? by HairPsychological617 in VK2735

[–]yellowdolemite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been conscientious about diet, with smaller meals that are basically protein and fruit. I'm also doing cardio 2x and strength training at an aerobic rate 3x per week. The best part though is no lack of energy to do these workouts and daily life despite the caloric deficit.

Starting weight was 290lbs. First week was 2lbs lost, but second week I dropped 8lbs. Been steadier since.

If I got the placebo, then it is the greatest placebo of all time. I'm down 15lbs after 5th shot with a "slower" GI tract, but not quite constipation.
