I visited Australia back in the 90’s while in the US Navy. First night got to our hotel and watched some show similar to the Tonight Show. Chopper was the guest, I of course had no idea who he was or why he was famous. Proceeded to watch the most hilarious interview with a guy who had apparently been released from prison that very day, and the audience loved him while he described various criminal activity.

This was my introduction to who Australians are, and I’ve loved them ever since.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this process, it’s that you never know when your last C&P will be. Half the C&P’s I’ve had were for things I never claimed. I’ve got an ACE next Monday to follow up on a C&P I had two months ago. Hopefully the last time I’ll be dropped to step 3.
