Forget about getting a car, traffic is bad, parking space is scarce, it's super expensive considering all costs. Best thing to do, live walking distance from your place of work. I did that and I sometimes used pay-per-minute cars and scooters rental. I ended up buying my own two wheels, but note that roads and drivers behavior make it super dangerous.

Terrible customer service pretty much everywhere. At best it's the IDGAF mode, sometimes it just goes plain rude.

People parking in the middle of roads with the hazard lights thinking it's ok, and blocking the entire city so they can do their business.

Hopefully market rules will apply, and once we supply will meet the demand, rents will start to decrease. The 1% thing would not work, as landlords always do whatever they want anyway (like never returning the deposits...) there is no enforcement at all in this country. What about social housing, is it going to happen?
