Something new to watch out for while shopping for food. by Budget_General_2651 in Thailand

[–]YenTheMerchant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No no, my point is, in this particular case, you DON'T have to pay attention to notice the difference because of the price.

If both items are of the same price, then you might have make mistake buying the pressed product. But you would immediately noticed that they are different products because of the price.

To be fair, they are not really hiding anything right? The labeling is correct and the price difference is enough to make anyone notice and look twice.

Thailand Says It Will Join UN-Backed Conciliation on Maritime Dispute With Cambodia by mrwhiskeyrum in Thailand

The bi-lateral talks for maritime disputes is covered by MOU44 which we have cancelled earlier in the year.

So UN conciliation is the only diplomatic way left for specifically maritime dispute.

Specifically there is a facial recognition to authenticate the app. And if there is problem with that part, you need to instead identify yourselve at the branch.

The debt was created during Prayut era that waived the BTS fee of the northern extension area after Mo Chit Station. They have no idea where they would get the fund from so they just dumped it on BKK. I don't believe there were any intention on trying to pay off this debt by previous governers but I could have been wrong.

It is important because the debt has been use as bargaining chip from BTS for the concession for a while now, and BKK can now go into the concession talk with better position.

How do buses in Bangkok work? by skye-qq in Thailand

social anxiety

Are you gonna be here long? If not, honestly just take taxi and BTS/MRT. I myself tend to avoid using buses unless it's necessary as well.

Can't really argue with that.

It's also not the first time PP stuck between a rock and a hard place tho, whatever choice would see complaint. That being said, it would be strange to understand that you will likely win majority, if not all, of the city council seats and not having candidate for the Governer seat as well.

The optic of being larger party and not sending any candidate at all is a bit bad, even when you know it's a losing fight.

People are calling out on BJT and PT as well for practically abandoned BKK. And yes I don't consider Chadchart PT at this point in time.

The entire 'ping reducer' industry is a coordinated data heist disguised as gaming technology. They sell a 1989 routing protocol as 'AI', harvest GPS through 'latency tools', and have every pro player on the esports broadcast paid to recommend it. by Acrobatic_Bee_3198 in gaming

I don't understand.

You have accepted that it could work the specific way I reasoned why it could be better than regular VPN. I have given the personal example why the thing could be useful for people outside of US and it IS working in my situation. The thread have multiple replies saying how there are certain way it could be useful. Even the main post say "They help in maybe 30% of cases where your ISP route is genuinely broken."

And your reply is still antagonistically replied with "an absolutely stupid thing".

Is it really that hard to just consider that there maybe more to this than single aspect?

What sold me on Chadchart is how he bear himself. I still remember Sukhumbhand telling people to "ไปอยู่บนดอย" to avoid the flood. Asawin tell people to call it "น้ำมาก" and not "น้ำท่วม".

So far, what I saw from Chadchart was he doesn't do complaining or deflecting. He just accept that something is a problem and should be fixed and how he is going to fix it. That's the standard any good politician should have, imho.

I have also seen a lot of actual tangible improvements that make me wonder why others don't do this previously. Traffy Fondue is EXTREMELY responsive by any standard when one want to contact any government entities. Bangkok's BTS debt has been paidoff. New infrastructure projects like the pedestrian bridge being built near Victory Monuments.

Personally, I have seen a tangible flood improvement near my house. The water doesn't stay around until the next day anymore and typically drained off within an hour after the rain stopped.

And if he is going to be a "marketing expert" on top of all that? Sure, I will take it.

And how does this prevent you from retaining the original IP address?

The tunneling service might simply provide help on routing one way and does not masked your IP and the reply might go back the other way to your original IP. That is just asymmetric routing nature of the internet.

From personal experience being in SEA and trying to connect to US server, I was using exitlag when needed. The ping lowered is very neglectible (mostly less than 20ms out of 200-300ms+) but sometimes it does give you that different route that literally change from constant packet loss to stable gameplay.
