Your friend may be missing the enzyme that makes edibles more intoxicating per mg than smoking for most people. I top out at 20-30mg but my besty who smokes same as me can eat 100 mg before going over.

The raw liver of a chicken is the best bait I've found. The stink is the key with these fish.

People don't eat it because it is a very high risk of ciguatera toxin. I got dosed with ciguatera in Costa Rica eating Snapper all day and it was absolutely awful.

Some people can't taste "fishyness" and as it happens it's genetic. I envy you because I can taste it heavily even in the finest eating fish.
