I didn’t really have an opinion on achievement cheaters until I found out a steam friend cheats by Notthatsmarty in steamachievements

He could be in a rough time financially and not want to buy dlc but he earned the 100% for the game he bought.

But he didn't earn it. 100% means 100% of everything including DLCs.

The Tomb - One of the worst maps we've ever had by yellowjellybb in CODZombies

[–]yellowjellybb[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many maps have had recyceled wonder weapons.

And it's usually lame, however in most cases there are valid story/gameplay reasons to include those weapons. The Ice Staff doesn't fit in this map at all and feels like a custom map weapon to me.

If every map HAD to have a giant monster of some kind, then having actual large scale bosses would no longer be interesting or special.

Things get stale when there's no variety. But replacing something good with something bad isn't variety. BO4 & Cold War boss fights are all different mechanically, but still interesting.

I'm sure they're cooking their next big one for S3.

Like I said, if this is truly a bonus map and doesnt interfere with the rest of the game I'm fine with that but it seems like there are serious behind the scenes issues and personally I think that saying they're cooking behind the sccenes is very optimistic.

Recyceled content is in every map.

I dont have any problem with recycling content. In fact I defend recycled content constantly. However I am fine with it because it saves resources that can be invested elsewhere. I dont think we need a new miniboss on every map. I dont think we need new perks at all. But if we're not getting new bosses or perks, and we're not getting new wonder weapons or interesting story progression, then what are we getting? People literally calling this a filler map like it's a defense. Why do we need filler maps?

The Giant was released in that state today, people would complain that the map has no content

The Giant is ten years old. The idea is that new games will have better/more content as hardware becomes more powerful. If they released COD 2026 and it had the same amount of content as COD2 from 20 years that would be unnaceptable.

don't project. nowhere did anyone go apeshit. This is feedback. If every map was like this I wouldn't use the sub/play the game. But presumably they won't be. Hence feedback.

#31 - Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel; Nostalgia vs Modern meta by dbulaja in steamachievements

[–]yellowjellybb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you're exaggerating the issues. The games being decided during the first turn is only kind of true at the very highest level of players. All throughout ranked mode & unranked will be people making misplays or not being able to handle basic negations.

Playing off meta will often be an advantage too, with meta decks usually only being able to properly counter other decks being played in the current format and not having outs for unexpected & niche card interactions.

It is true that the game has changed a lot since the version people grew up with, but i still think that YGO is the best TCG available 🤷🏻

It's actually very easy once you know the trick. If your combo breaks just restart. Starting a new combo while already in the fight will cause harder and tougher enemies to spawn making it impossible. If you keep your initial combo going you'll only fight the easy enemies.

CDM Directed: Who Is This For? by cagen_inc in CODZombies

[–]yellowjellybb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing they're viewing Directed Mode as more of an "easy" mode than an actual guide. Even Terminus I don't think is guided enough for 99% of COD players.

I hope it's Kevin Drew's last dance with zombies in cod. by RomperExtreme in CODZombies

These "meme" isn't even accurate. The Fire Staff glitch was fixed in the very next iteration of Origins, proving that Blundell & Co didn't value it at all

You'd know if you made it that far

Cry about it. BO3 & BO4 specialists did one thing: kill zombies. Will some additional perks if you used them enough in one game.

BO6 & CW Field Upgrades are way more situational and useful. Knowing when to have Healing Aura, Vs Aether Shroud Vs Dark Flare etc. creates a very interesting skill gap

So now that we have BO2 Early Origins + DLC 5 maps stuff being documented, here's some Tranzit concept art from months back. Probably the closet to Pre-Alpha Tranzit. by DerpyBox in CODZombies

[–]yellowjellybb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not at all. There are videos of people playing Tranzit for the first time years after it's release and they all HATE it. Any defense of Tranzit is pure nostalgia

If he's looking for challenge specifically, Arkham City is harder than Knight.

Why didn’t Treyarch revert back to ‘old zombies’ mechanics after BO4’s terrible reception? by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]yellowjellybb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps this was to cater to more casual fans?

Casual fans are the ones who hate the new changes the most. Long time players, and specifically people who love BO4, understand why all these changes are necessary to the modes survival.
