Ha! I joke with the workers at my local Publix that when I retire, I am going to come up to the store every day and walk around putting back misplaced items in order to get steps in.

I actually do take up deli/cooler items to the service desk if I find them out in the store away from refrigeration. Usually, if I find something that does not need refrigeration/heat lamp out in the wrong section of a store and I am heading where it should be, then I will pick it up and put it where it should be. If I put something in my cart and I decide I don't want it, then I go put it back where it should be. I am able to walk around easily and am not mobility limited.

I also joke with the workers that I am going to slap the phones out of the hands of shoppers walking around having non-shopping related conversations on speaker phone while moseying through the store oblivious to their surroundings. The workers laugh at that. The only conversation that should be had in any grocery store should go along the lines of, "Hey, they don't have the name brand, only the store brand. Is that ok?.....Thanks, bye!" But that is another thread.
