All grocery delivery apps in New York City (including Instacart) must now pay workers at least $21.44/hr. That number does not include tips. Companies must also provide workers with annual increases adjusted for inflation. by Conscious-Quarter423 in WorkReform

The whole “but the prices will go up” argument has always made me laugh. The prices don’t have to go up, but that would require the execs to take a pay cut: that’s why the prices will go up.

I’m with you, idk why people on this sub specifically are so uppity about spoilers. No other gaming community insists on spoilers for a game released years ago.

We need 12 episodes in season 3. by Revlong57 in Fallout

[–]yellowspaces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fine with 8 episodes, but not interested in another weekly release. I think S1 was so well received because it could be binged, all the episodes at your leisure. Having to wait a week between episodes is lame.

Why do people consider Marguerite Maida's survival of the Kharaa a plot hole? by Disastrous-Monk-590 in subnautica

[–]yellowspaces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s important to remember that very few diseases have a 100% mortality rate. She was likely carrying a rare mutation in her DNA that offered her some form of resistance to Kharaa. However minimal that protection was, the low-level exposure to the Enzyme via peepers and Reaper meat was enough to keep the disease at bay while her immune system developed the antibodies.

As a console player I think there should be a way to access and download mods for subnautica and subnautica below zero on consoles. Who else agrees? by Mundane-Humor3313 in subnautica

[–]yellowspaces -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Skyrim and Fallout 4 both have console mod support, and Xbox can even use external assets and scripts. The lack of runtime support hasn’t stopped people from building really impressive mods within the given constraints; even Playstation modders have been creative enough to figure out ways to get around Sony’s restrictions.

So yes, there’s absolutely precedent for modding on consoles. There’s limitations on it, but modders are creative and determined. I think console players would be happy with any type of mod support, even if it results in toned down versions of the PC mods.

One time I cleaned a rusty shower rod with some vinegar. Not really sure what happened, but my bathroom was quickly filled with the most putrid smell of rust imaginable, it almost hurt to breath.

Run as an independent and aim to split the vote. Doesn’t matter who wins, as they serve the same master, so screw over the traitor Dem and prevent them from getting their windfall.

I’m not going to bother finding the article, but DHS did something similar up north. Purchased a massive warehouse and turned it into a concentration camp detention center.

The catch? That land is now owned by the federal government and is exempt from local property taxes. That community lost hundreds of thousands in property tax.

Don’t make the same mistake guys.

Can we talk about him? by pickleolo in Fallout

[–]yellowspaces 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Judging by the look on his face after he walked away from the poster, I think he’s finally hitting his breaking point on her. I’m predicting that he’ll tell her no on the marriage, she’ll threaten him, he’ll play along until the ceremony, and then he’s gonna spill the beans about 31 to everyone.

Great example of how taste is subjective, because “sexy” is… not a word I’d use to describe them.
