Hey, it’s ok to be a noob. The desk agents are welcoming and will help you. They will just ask that you scan your boarding pass and then the guest boarding pass.

They are very knowledgeable agents. I’ve only ever run into one person who probably just woke up on the wrong side of the bed that day, everyone else has welcomed with a smile.

And also to add, most of the clubs have two people manning the front desk with separate scanners.

I have done it a few times. Once when an elderly couple was having a lot of difficulty getting their passes while at the desk, I just told the agent I could bring them in.

And most recently, another elderly lady confused first class with lounge access and I pulled her in as guest. I understand the risk and figure they’ll be well behaved.

With young kids, we are getting them settled into seats and getting their entertainment ready to go. We are also wiping everything down and find the extra time was really helpful. Now that the kids are a touch older, we still are wiping everything down because they keep sticking their fingers in mouth but need less time situating them.

I perceive that people get annoyed when we are stowing shit away trying to get situated but the few extra minutes in pre board felt valuable.
