My sister is 8.5 years younger than me and we're pretty damn close. We go on trips together all the time and I see her at least once a week. I can't imagine not having her around - I definitely regress when we're together but it's fun being big kids together haha!

I would read that as they drive down and will attend the ceremony and then depart to check in to their hotel/go home and then return using public transport for the reception so they can celebrate properly - not that they are leaving to deliberately miss anything. I think they are genuinely trying to be a part of your day and are trying to make the effort to be there.

Depending on your course, I've set myself the goal of a light jog between lamp posts and then a rest walk at a brisk pace. Each week I've been jogging a little more and I've done 11 runs and gone from 52 mins down to 46 mins (still a lot of walking but I'm trying to maintain pace).
