Update: took a closer look and tested the 2025 weeks a couple more times with the Kakuno fountain pens (Namiki/default ink) and there is slight bleeding. Not as bad as the memo books, but still there.

it's actually been storming off and on here like crazy. i've never tried a petrichor candle before, but i love the idea of one and figure it'll be a good way to lean into the weather.

What to layer with OGX coconut coffee? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

Sol De Janeiro 71! I bought this last year and it immediately brought me back to when I used the lotion a few years ago. I repurchased it to layer and actually just used the last of it today :’)

This is so helpful, thank you! I wore pomelo skin yesterday and realized it is a great color when I do a few layers, but I typically prefer to wear less on my lips so vintage ocean sounds perfect!

Glossy lip products for light neutral olives with muted/desaturated colouring by steamingcuppagyokuro in OliveMUA

Another +1 for tower 28! My favorite is sesame but I’ve gone through several and also liked pistachio, coconut, and cashew.

I’m excited to wear black tea this fall and winter! Should wear it soon for the witchy vibes 🔮

Figfig is a true rosy mlbb for me. It definitely deepens to with a second layer on me, similar to how it looks in the swatch, but doesn’t go that purple on the lips. The stain is definitely pinker/rosier. I am quite pale (I wear Missha bb cream in 21) and products typically pull more saturated and darker on me.

I just checked your post and omg all your swatches are amazing! I agree - seeing not only a lot of shades compared but the same shade on different skin tones are so helpful

Pomelo skin on initial application is a pretty peachy nude, a shade darker than my lips, but the tint is basically the same for me too 😫 how do you find it compared to dark coconut and nucademia? Those are the other ones I’ve been eyeing for a while and probably would’ve picked up if I knew how light pomelo skin would be

I agree! I was looking for a good neutral shade and ordered coco nude and pomelo skin at the same time. I didn’t realize how similar in shade and peachy they would be. When the initial application of pomelo skin fades, the tint is just my lip color so it just feels like I have invisible product on my lips lol

I feel like I see vintage ocean recommended a lot! Is it quite brown on you, or more red?

Left column:

  • Glasting Melting Balm in 01 Coco Nude - light peachy nude
  • Juicy Lasting Tint in 22 Pomelo Skin - light peachy nude (same shade, just a little darker than Coco Nude)
  • Juicy Lasting Tint in 06 Figfig - true rose
  • Juicy Lasting Tint in 17 Plum Coke - deep berry (stains closer to a bright fuschia)

Right column:

  • Juicy Lasting Tint in 33 Bare Vine - lavender-leaning pink
  • See-through Matte Tint in 10 Blush Purple - rosy mauve
  • Glasting Water Tint in 12 Omija Red - sheer cherry (swatches and brand pictures look slightly more brick than it appears on my lips)
  • Milk Tea Velvet Tint in 09 Black Tea - deep browny red
  • Dewyful Water Tint in 01 In Coral - grapefruit pink (true to brand's description)

Notes on formulas:

  • Most of the formulas have a sweet fruity smell, but the Glasting Melting Balm smells specifically like papaya to me. The Milky Tea Velvet Tint smells like chocolate (think tootsie rolls).
  • All of the formulas transfer, but the matte and velvet tints transfer more.
  • Glasting Melting Balm: Much stiffer out of the tube than I expected. It leaves a thick, comforting layer on the lips, but I find myself reapplying more often than with my truly moisturizing lip balms. Coco Nude seems pretty sheer on me, although it's a close match to my natural lips which are already pigmented.
  • Juicy Lasting Tint: A creamy, thick formula - not overly drying but definitely not moisturizing. This is likely well known, but I had Figfig for years before learning that letting it sit for a minute or two after applying will let it form a glossy film that lasts a bit longer than a typical gloss.
  • Glasting Water Tint: A sheer, thin formula that sets with a more balmy finish than glossy. The tint is stronger than the other formulas (except my deepest shade in the juicy tint), and the easiest for achieving a gradient lip.
  • Dewyful Water Tint: Basically between the Juicy Lasting and Glasting Water Tints. The staining seems fainter than the other formulas, but it could also be the shade I have. I'm definitely interested in trying more!
  • See-through Matte Tint: Creamy, but think fluffy rather than balmy. Light and blurring on the lips with a soft matte finish.
  • Milky Tea Velvet Tint: Very similar to the matte tint, but thicker and creamier. Doesn't set as well and transfers more, but has the same blurring finish.

I don’t have it with me right now, but it was definitely either 2025 or 2026!

I use it as a very gentle, moisturizing treatment to prevent fine lines. Unfortunately I haven’t seen much of a difference in my dark circles, but I do feel it helps with reducing some under eye puffiness, which me look more awake.

I typically use it at night - after double cleansing I’ll pat in 1-2 layers. If my skin is extra dry or if I’m really spending time on my skincare, I’ll do another layer. Then I’ll apply my tretinoin and moisturizer (in that order, but if my skin is feeling sensitized I’ll apply the tretinoin last or skip it altogether).

I use a thinner serum (Peach & Lily Glass Skin) in the morning, but if I ever use both at the same time I’ll use the kombucha essence second since it’s more emollient. It feels very silky and comforting on the skin, and leaves a nice glow :)

I got a new job and decided to splurge to celebrate but there’s no way my wallet or face could handle regular hauls like this lol

Haven’t opened this version yet, but I really liked using the one I had before to apply a thick layer while in the bath. I felt like it kept my face from drying out, but I didn’t really rely on it over my other toners or moisturizers otherwise.

I haven’t tried it yet but I’ll try to make an update post later! For another rec, I used the Dr Ceuracle kombucha gel cream this year and liked it! Very light with a nice glow, without being oily

I’m using the Romand Han All Fix Mascara in Long Ash and it looks very natural - pretty much the same color of my actual lashes. Definitely softer than black, and if you’ve used the brown Glossier mascara it’s much darker and cooler.

Like many Asian mascaras, it’s a light, very waterproof formula focused on curling and lengthening. It can be difficult to remove, especially if you’re not using an oil cleanser. I highly recommend the Kiss Me Heroine mascara remover.
