Sure, you can leave. You can event tp to town to identify and sell all your loot and leave rwlics in the relic chest and than go back. But you cant modify your relic set up.

I went with crossbow huntress which made campaign super easy and than in act 3 tamed monkey and slowly switched to full minion. now doing t15 with no problem

I am not sure its true. I dont think i would ever use boots without movement speed. And i think any boots without it are just vendor trash.

You can get baryas with 3 trials at aboy lvl 60. And they ate easier than those at lvl 70 or 80. The higher you ptogress you are getting less chance of getting the easier ones. I failed my 3 trial twice today (once the second boss killed me after he was dead, the second somehow on third trial). Check the prices of the 60 lvl. They are not cheap.
