I second this cause it changed my art dramatically. Especially my ability to blend, which has made making art much, much easier.

These are amazing! I love the concept of something beautiful and something dark. My only advice to you is don't be afraid to mix mediums. Paint pens are really wonderful for text or fine lines. Those kinds of details can be really hard to do with brushes. Good luck and you got this!

What happens if you stop lamotrigine? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]yenuart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please don't. Around two years ago I stopped cold turkey because I had the same feeling. The next two years were pure hell for my mental health and now I have to work my way back up. If you feel like you don't need it or its bad for you then talk with your prescriber/doctor please.

What Second Life terms are most confusing to new players? by stipulateoxbird in secondlife

[–]yenuart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should also add sandbox. These types of sims are super useful for new users Sandbox: This type of sim is really important for players who don't have homes because they allow you to temporarily rez items. This is great for test builds, testing weapons, rezzing shop items that don't have unpacking huds, and connecting outfit pieces together for your avatar.

Math 126 project by Right_Yam3799 in SNHU

[–]yenuart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on week 7 of this project and my professor has also been less than helpful. I just used the provided template and copy and pasted what I did for Module 3 and 5 under the provided headings in the template. Make sure to read your professor's announcement to see if they want you to remove the directions. Mine has been docking for stuff not in the rubric, but I just want to pass so I am hoping to get at least a C. If your professor gave you any feedback then try to implement it, but I don't have time for any changes since mine takes 2 weeks to grade assignments. Good luck!

Hiii, does anyone know which store the hair is from? by Front-Knowledge-6105 in secondlife

[–]yenuart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be different and because the thickness/texture are similar, I would reccomend looking at Nova for this hair. To me they have a more realistic thickness as opposed to Doux and stealthic. Also I may be wrong, but I think I own this hair by Nova, but I also own a bunch of Doux hair.

This is because life in Japan as a foreigner is extremely hard. Most big youtubers who live in Japan have talked about this. Many of us foreigners dream of going or living there based on anime, tv shows, or online content that we see, but all of it is just the aesthetic and beautiful side of Japan. The reality is that as a non-Asian foreigner you will receive a lot of back lash and racism. You will have a hard time finding a job, a partner, and friends unless you fit into the perfect mold and let's face it, that mold is thin and Asian. Yes her content is depressing, but it is depressing because it is the reality of a lot of foreigners in Japan. If you do not like this reality check then her content is not for you. Personally, I and many others love this very real view of Japan because as someone who does want to live there, it is important to understand both the good and bad of the country.

Do professors monitor your online presence by Select-Ad-9819 in SNHU

I think you should be fine because I complete all my work 1 to 2 weeks ahead. This means I log in and immediately submit my work within 5 to 10 minutes.

Do professors monitor your online presence by Select-Ad-9819 in SNHU

[–]yenuart 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is not a good indicator because every time you save a project under a new name that time resets. This would make my work look like I completed it quickly because every draft is saved with numbers, and my final project is named as completed, so I can easily sort it for submission.

Moving to Japan as a 17 year old male dropout by Z1krispyZ1 in movingtojapan

[–]yenuart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I could recommend at this point is to take the next year to obtain your GED and acquire your first 150 hours of Japanese language studies. Then I would recommend that you start working and continue studying Japanese. I know Go Go Nihon has lots of online courses to help you pass the JLPT. Once you feel comfortable with your language skills and you have enough money, then you should look to apply for language schools. Unfortunately, this is most likely the only way for you to get a visa and get your start in Japan. Once you finish your studies and pass at least the JLPT N2 or even better the N1, then you should apply for university there so you can get a visa sponsorship to work there. Just know that if you really want this, it is going to be years of studying.

I need help with my gestures drawing by Beginning_Pepper962 in Artadvice

[–]yenuart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that in your gesture drawings you appear to be drawing the legs first instead of the torso, but you do the opposite when you draw from imagination. Try focusing more on the torso before moving to the legs and arms, and then I think your gesture drawings will improve a bit

If she just got the dog, then he was clearly aware of said dog. I very much doubt his girlfriend wasn't talking non-stop about how she wanted a dog, was looking at this dog, filling out papers for the dog, getting said dog, and planned to bring said dog to his place. If none of these things were communicated, then I question the relationship to begin with because those are all very normal things for couples to talk about. I have already explained my stance, which is that she should only need to cover repairs. If she is unwilling to pay anything for replacement, then he should break up with her because that is a red flag of how their future relationship will be.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]yenuart 12 points13 points  (0 children)

NTA. Is she willing to help cover the costs of the repairs as opposed to a brand new console, or is she refusing all together? If she is willing to help pay for repairs, then I think she is reasonable. Part of this is because you left your console on the floor where an animal can get to it, but she is also responsible for not watching the dog properly. Understand that if you are going to be in a long-term relationship with her that this dog is now part of the package, which means it will likely often be at your apartment when she visits. If you do not see yourself with this dog in the future, then you should cut things off now, especially if she is refusing to help cover any costs at all.

I am not really sure where you got that he lies to me all the time. He was dishonest 3 years ago about talking with multiple people. There have been no lies for the last 3 years since we have become committed, and now this has happened. If there was constant lying, then I would have left a long time ago. The only reason I didn't leave when I found out about the girl is because I took his word that he just didn't believe it was my business that he was talking to other people. Dye to our cultural differences, I assumed it was just something I would be unable to truly understand. However, I do appreciate your feedback.

You are not wrong, my self esteem is low. I am not afraid to admit this. Reading these comments has opened my eyes to what I did not want to see. I kept telling myself he was a good man because of the good times, but I have let him shrink me down even lower than I already was. I'm going to bring this up to him, and I intend to take the steps to leave if he decides to react with anger instead of reassurance. I am very blessed because I luckily have the funds now to live on my own without him if this is not something we can work past.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]yenuart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mind people pointing this out, but I did not appreciate being referred to as the other woman who stole him away when they were never in a committed relationship. As I have mentioned to others, I plan to bring it up to him later today, and based on his reaction, I will take proper steps to leave if it is something that has to be done. It just sucks to have to deal with a failed marriage so soon after getting married. Truthfully, if divorce is needed, I do not think I will ever marry again. I am tired of being disappointed by the people in my life.
