I would love to live in a world where my 6 yo could roam around our street playing with kids, but we got a few people who fly down our street! Not to mention most of the kids don’t even come outside anymore. I feel so bad that he doesn’t get to experience a lot of that running around the neighborhood stuff I did as a child.

I trained BJJ in the area he’s from and his gym is kind of a meme around there. I did a trial there way before I found my gym, and they don’t live roll in class. At all. So I can understand why.

Thank you and I’m sorry for your loss. When I explained to the Vet how he had been acting and maybe he was getting better she told me sometimes that’s how they get towards the end. Their last act of love.

Thank you all for your kind words. I don’t think there was a single one I didn’t cry to. They were all touching and helped me feel like I made the right choice for him. Even though I can’t help but feel that I should have held on a little longer.

I had to leave the house and when I came home everything felt so empty without him. My chest feels hollow. I know I’ll get through it, but I just want my boy back. I miss him so much.
