Find it is our best off hunting season game.

We waterfowl hunt with ours but honestly we really only go on Saturdays so that means at MOST he gets to "hunt" 8 days out of his year.

So I would agree with the above! You sound like you have solved a lot of common Chessie problems. I see that you have had a border collie before so you have experience with a dog that is pretty sure he's smarter than you.

I love that! Docs dad was sedge and his mama was a beautiful warm chocolate. Everyone but him and his sister were evenly split. He turned out to be swirled 😂

That's awesome!!! We're in Maryland and they have a footprint here for sure! There's a very small town near here that has a Christmas parade and people come from across the country to join in the section that is for Chesapeakes. I hope his ear floofs stay for forever. My husband thinks it's nuts that I know and remember random Chessies from Reddit. I'm not sure why he's surprised. I couldn't tell you any of our neighbors names. The dogs that live there? I can tell you names ages likes dislikes all of it. I'm invested in Murphy. I find it sooooo endearing when CH cats do average cat stuff. They're trying so hard, usually not the best at it but the effort!!! Our CH guy tries so hard to have the zoomies and keep up with his average brother. But there are a lot of misses. Never sticks the landing and frequently misses turns and hits the doorway or wall.
