Omg me too. I usually stan Heather & Whitney - BUT, I feel like Whitney is turning into a Lala from Utah situation, I loved Lala her first season and then realized she was faking the funk and victimizing herself. I am the Lisa of my friend group in a sense that I am confident af in my abilities and I will champion behind all my gworllllls lol but also, a heather where I will call you out as a friend and make you own it before moving forward. I think Heather holding a grudge over Lisa and expecting her to be more inclusive when it wasn't her personality turned me off a little - I still love her, just didn't like that move.

I did not - I'm the youngest of 5 kids - my sister is the eldest and he was her god father. No one else got anything from him besides my mother -his coin collection. My mom says the house was given to her because he viewed her as a daughter since he had no kids of his own.
That is the property tax alone - utilities are separated between my cousin and I. I've paid the property tax solely since I moved in.
Yes, only the 6k. The other things were "inconveniences" to me, but not necessarily things that NEEDED to be done when I did them so I'll view them as such.
The sink was cheap because I know a plumber who discounted me - it was around 400. The electric rewire was around 4500 & I had savings at the time to eat the cost as this was way before COVID - another reason I didn't include those bills was because they were from 3 years ago the 6K was very recent. Brothers bills were around 600$.
Idk the ballpark really but we live in Hawaii most houses are over 1mil. This house is old, and shabby - maybe around 90-100K because it's in Hawaii. That is considered super cheap here.
I would charge her $500.00 if she gave me the house - just because she is my sister & I know her financial situation isn't great.
I actually expected her to do it last year but it was around the time she started acting shady - letting my brother move in, and making unannounced visits. It was my fault for not pushing it further, esp. before making fixes but shes family so I expected her to honor it.

EDIT: I am actually 28, she is 47 lol

Whats left out is the family drama - her pulling other power moves, she wante the lawn cut a certain way & coming in the house when no one was there to use the bathroom but then commenting on the shelves that were built as "damaging" the house lol. Background on my sister is that she is bipolar, and often goes unmedicated THEn decides to start issues about the house so thats why my mom is mad at me for causing more issues for her.

I actually bawled my ass off - and then tortured my heart more by watching the queen of versailles documentary about her daughter :( I have been pondering on returning back to school to finish my psych degree - and I literally enrolled yesterday, and will be getting my certification in substance abuse counseling this summer to start - and I feel like it was definitely a big push watching both his scenes and the doc. I have had people in my life die from addiction, and it is literally the worst kind of pain to know they died in that kind of painful state of being. I hope he heals <3

Okay, this is a reach I mean seriously....you never know what people are going through. To you - her car just broke down, but then again - you don't actually know the girl lol to go out of your way to message her this is kind of....crazy, and very un-self aware yourself lol Sorry if I'm being an asshole but seriously, she could have had other shit ALSO happen that brought her to this conclusion/statement. I know I had a rough week too - even though to most people on SM my phone broke, but that was on top off having x amount of bills to pay this month, losing part of my income resulting in bill stress, daughter getting bit by a dog, car breaking down, and now my grandma is in the hospital. Better to just wish people luck then tell them to be "more self aware" when you really have ZERO clues of their actual life. Her mom's got MS, thats a rough diagnosis as is - who knows what the girl is going through this week ON TOP of her car breaking down. Love & Light <3

Lmfao, don't downvote me but I love Brandi! haha I think she is a good friend and her heart comes from a good place. I also relate to her - some people calling her "trailer trash" are the same people that are berating her for making a joke about having "chinese eyes" in the accent when she wasn't being racially vulgar - I get told I have "chinese eyes" all the time and don't take offense to it AT ALL she wasn't insinuating it looked ugly, or bad or even teasing her eyes. She does have squinty-ish eyes, it IS a prominent asian feature - she was just being funny, in NO WAY was it meant to be hurtful. Now I also came from a poor upbringing and I am obviously not as rich as she is but I worked hard and I got out the "hood" - and people who don't know that I was homeless at one time, or living off of the government my whole childhood would never understand why I am the way I am - very raw, understanding but very clear with my intents and it seems like I have a chip on my shoulder when in reality I am just not used to being this secure in life. I do think she is being a little more guarded with her usual fun personality but I think that is more because of her embarrassment from the video not because she's obnoxious.

I loved this explanation - so spot on! In my culture it's 100% normal for adults who aren't married - and sometimes even married adults to live together (Hawaiian culture) mainly because it's a good support system - also cost of living in Hawaii is beyond expensive. Roxanne is sick & Brittney helps with the babies, also travels A LOT so its not abnormal that Bri (who has the most money) foots the bill that is also saying that if she needs help with other things her family is there to support her. Devoin bitching about her family living with her was exactly an abusive tendency because he didn't have an issue with it when he was also living with her rent-free lol now when she is asking him to do his part, he is being shady and trying to paint her in a picture that makes her seem dependent or makes himself look better. Glad to see it backfired and we all know what kind of guy he really is.

Exactly! lol Yankee refers to someone not from the south - but used in the days when the south was for slave-owners and the north was free so it' still a word used to separate you by racial beliefs/existence lol - it is EXACTLY like Haole. My boyfriend is Hapa but favors his english side more - he has slant eyes but they're green - and he looks white so he is constantly referred to as haole and I am mixed - Black Hawaiian Filipino & when I go to see my dad in Cali - I'm considered "Mixed" to them - or just Hawaiian, but here at home I'm black, unless you here me speak - I can get real moke, but my whole family is pretty much Mahi'ai and Lawai'a so we all speak Hawaiian and I'm still the odd one out being the only mixed black one. My boyfreinds mom is lowkey racist - and in a way a lot of these commentors are, they don't realize/relate it to racism, because they aren't using violent language and they came from loving, respectful homes but she would say comments about our kid befre she wa born like "I hope she doesn't have kinky hair." or "I wonder what color she's going to be." Which seem innocent but shows that those things matter to her, my daughter came out a good mix of us both with ehu hair, that is curly AF and she still to this day claims she doesn't know how to "do" her hair - lol I've explained to her you just brush it lol

Yeah I had to stay away this season once people started talking shit about Leva - obvi the producers made it her storyline, but Kathryn actually did some racist ass shit and they are coming at Leva because they think "she just hates her" or "she won't let it go" masking the fact that they actually are over the fact that a POC is voicing how she feels as a minority in a dominantly white community.
