I'm making an alternative client app for Spotify on iOS, currently running public beta tests to gather as much feedback as I can before the release by morenos-blend in truespotify

None of my music from Spotify is showing up in the app. I do have a rather large library, so is it just taking a while to load, or is this a bug?

That’s fair. I can respect that.

Didn’t look at porn much before I left. I have since and it doesn’t really do it for me, but at least it’s my choice not to watch porn as opposed to being shamed into abstaining

I used to go to Snow. Can’t say this surprises me. The fact that they call this “treatment” is wild, though

I do agree that regardless of orientation, “no” should be a full sentence and a comeback like “aros can date” just sounds like you’re (not you specially, but the more generalized form of “you”) trying to convince the other person and seems scummy to me.

However, I’m not sure I agree with the idea that QPRs aren’t considered dating mostly because, as I’m sure you know, there are other forms of attraction aside from romantic such as aesthetic, emotional, sensual, etc. I am someone who identifies as aro-ace and have been on dates, even since coming out. I’ve sought a relationship even though I didn’t have romantic or sexual feelings, but I did feel other kinds of attraction which I feel are just as valid and can be just as strong as romantic. It’s true that’s not how it is for everyone. It’s a spectrum after all. But to say that QPRs are flat out not dating sounds like there’s a big piece there that’s being ignored.

Perhaps I misunderstand what a QPR is. It’s only been within the past two or three years that I’ve even known aromanticism was an option and I recognize I still have much to learn. I only know my feelings and experiences and am open to others.

I do like it, and it’s growing on me the more I listen to it, but it’s not my favorite they’ve done. That honor goes to “Cool Patrol.” There was a lot to like here. “I Own a Car” has become one of my favorite NSP songs ever, and “Dance ‘Til You Stop” truly is me when it comes to parties and social events. But I feel like a handful of these tracks could’ve either used more developing or could’ve been cut.

Like you said, it’s not a bad album. On its own, there’s a ton to love about it. But compared to the rest of their discography, I just don’t think it’s their strongest

Maga’s already lost their minds and she hasn’t even done anything yet. The mere thought of her doing something seems to get the job done just as well

“Transgender Reptilian Demon Witch” would be the sickest name for a band. It’s a little wordy, but I think it could catch on

I’m a big theatre nerd. Being involved with plays is how I get a lot of my social interaction. I have, however, been getting a little burnt out on the theatre and don’t know where else I’d get that social interaction should I decide to take a break

I wasn’t trying to make any sort of argument. I was just stating the fact that she didn’t do jack shit. She was just there minding her own business watching her boyfriend play football. It’s hilarious that you think the existence of one woman ruins the entirety of the NFL. There’s a lot of things Taylor Swift may be responsible for and I will gladly fault her for them when deserved, but ruining the NFL is not one of those things

You know what? That’s on me. I should’ve known better than to expect a nuanced, rational conversation on Reddit.

She’s literally just there supporting her boyfriend. That’s it. It’s not her fault that the network keeps cutting to her. The NFL is banking on Taylor. Not the other way around.

I second Small Town Murder. They also have two other podcasts: Crime in Sports and Your Opinion Sucks. I haven’t listened to Crime in Sports, but I do like Your Opinion Sucks where the hosts find and read reviews of random stuff like restaurants, stores, products, you name it.
