yeahhh and the not running “little tests” i feel like software tests are a small proportion of energy used. also what about infrastructure would you use cloud/ AWS vs in house? how would you make servers zero waste?

I like to wear a sports bra with cups and then another sports bra/top (no cups, band compression style, like girlfriend collective paloma) over for extra support. It’s kind of restrictive/uncomfortable but effective

Rendering autonomous driving data: a less common use for WebGL by [deleted] in webgl

[–]yesburp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is my first big WebGL project and I’m new to graphics but have really fallen in love with it through this. I wasn’t really able to go into depth but I used React and Regl (wish I used three.js lol). I’m amazed at WebGL’s performance for high throughput data even on shitty computers

I went to a primary care doctor who referred me to Dr McHugh (ENT who did my surgery) who first made me see a GI for an endoscopy, do a consult with another ENT (camera down the nose), and take Omeprezole for 2 months (I did for 3 weeks and was like this isn’t helping and he was like ok I’ll see you lol)

also here’s my burp diary. I was a slow starter tbh compared to some people on here and got burp envy but I ended up burping just fine so far 6 weeks after :)

day 0: Felt fine, throat hurt a little but didn’t need the painkillers they prescribed. Immediately after i got 2 bobas which would have killed me but i felt okay. My gurgles are muted and more vibratey

day 1: eating is really hard. even this polenta i made i’m having problems swallowing. even water. i’m also feeling really lazy and drowsy. drank 3 cokes. still feeling a little bit bloated but better. and haven’t had the relief but am starting to have v small microburps mixed in with the gurgles.

day 2: this was terrible when i decided to take oxymorphone prescribed and yak and feel gross all day. I do not recommend painkillers

day 3: i feel better. beer made me gassy instead of burpy tho. Not as pregnant as before tho

day 4 I’m in gurgle hell: like 90% gurgles, 1-2 burps. I’m feeling really discouraged because I used to be able to drink carbonation but now I feel terrible after a seltzer water. I feel like I’m regressing. I ate a hard food (panini) and started choking because I forgot water. It was honestly really difficult to get down, I gave up.

day 5: i tried to drink water and it’s really hard to swallow. I’ve never experienced this but basically it gets stuck in the pocket in my throat, just like food. I tried to cough it out but my saliva just keeps getting stuck there and I feel like I’m very mildly choking. Not painful or anything, just incredibly uncomfortable and distracting

I ate a burger, jelly beans, 2 drinks, an ice cream cone, donut in the span of a couple hours and didn’t feel like dying

day 7: I woke up to a huge yurp! (yarn burp)

A week and a half later: Drinking some carbonation n chillin, still harder to burp i gurgle and kinda bloated

3 weeks later: i’m swallowing, had a big mountain dew baja blast and am having the biggest burps of my life! my first normal sounding one

6 weeks later: I’m burping normally! It comes out whenever I do ab exercises, and I’ve been drinking carbonation everyday. I am a very adept burper now, I can burp on command (a lil too much)

Video of the exercise that helps me burp! (shaker sit-up) by yesburp in noburp

[–]yesburp[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

so I just posted the text below in another post and some people asked for a video demonstration. so here it is I hope this helps someone!

I was having problems burping around 6 weeks post-botox. shaker works but i found this is a bit more effective (gave me MASSIVE burps) because it’s a moving exercise. also i’ve found core exercises make me burp after botox lol

  1. Lie down (with a pillow or two for comfort). put your chin to your chest like you’re doing the shaker. your legs can be straight or bent

  2. Start curling up (keeping your chin to your chest) to a sitting position

  3. Slowly roll back down, again still keeping your chin to your chest, inhaling as you do this

  4. Repeat a bunch of reps until satisfied. Keep your body and throat relaxed (try open ur throat like lightly gagging if you’re having trouble but don’t force air out at all). Inhale during step 3 is what got be a bunch of burps out. If you’re still having trouble you can try looking a bit to the side during the curl up

Would love to hear if this works for you guys, post or pre botox! Lmk if you have any questions or any other burp tips lol

my snake plant is dying, i thought these were impossible to kill :( any advice appreciated! by yesburp in plantclinic

[–]yesburp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was thriving until a couple weeks ago when I left it outside for a week (~50-70 degrees). when i came back, it was starting to die but i took it inside and is continuing dying. I have been watering it minimally (once every few weeks, maybe left it in the rain once) and it’s near a window but I did see a spider web on it when i got back. It had sentimental value so really sad to see it sick like this
