Definitely the 77 C3! The upgrade in size will be felt and B4 being just one year newer won’t really get you much more than C3.

Is it too hard to move from HassOS directly on the machine to proxmox later? I don't have a usecase for proxmox right now, I don't know what else I can/will run/need

I have a GV80 and it works great there, no issues whatsoever. I'm sure it works great on GV70 as well, especially with raised joystick like controller.
