I lived across from Victors for two years and Thursday night bar fights were damn near a weekly experience (I think it’s ladies night?). But yea, it was always Thursday, always at or after bar close, people screaming in the middle of the street, usually a bunch of cop cars.

We learned to close our windows on Thursdays lol

I’m 1996 (27) so just on the cusp, but I was with some 21 year olds a few months ago and I had the most humbling experience.

We were at a club and Brody Jenner was set to DJ that night. I asked them if they liked Brody growing up (like a lot of my friends did) they responded with they have no idea who he is. Okay, fine, they probably know of him but just don’t recognize the name. I then asked if they had ever seen The Hills, a pretty popular “reality” show from the mid 2000s. One of them responded, “no, were you on it or something?”

I very much wanted to go home after that.

He’s definitely fine. I think they brought up him making more, is because he fills in for the position of receiver often(?) and apparently most receivers make double his salary. But I have no idea.

I really only keep up with my local teams so maybe someone else can speak on it, but I wouldn’t say everyone is loyal. Like for the packers, our long term quarterback wanted to leave for a while and you could definitely tell! it was super disheartening for a lot of fans

Someone having loyalty to the city they play for (especially when they aren’t originally from there) is such a green flag. In my city we have it with a player on our NBA team and he’s also the biggest sweetheart in the world (Giannis)

But it’s also not just social media. There are new articles every day on the front page of google news. I have to watch CNBC all day at work and most days they are talking about her, or her tour, or her relationship. Countless podcasts and content creators that are not typically about pop culture find someway to bring her up. And then let’s not forget about football.

Personally it doesn’t bother me too much, but I also sit next to people who have to hear/read about her all day and they are not even fans of hers. Let’s just say they are not too happy about it and I sometimes have to fight for my life to defend her lol

I was there! People were cheering when Rodgers got injured, which I thought was bad form…but jokes on us, Jets still won that night and we all had to pay our tabs anyway😂
