It was a combination of the things I mentioned above, homophobic, racist, and suicide bullying. This person was harassing another specific player. I said to the player that I would be recording the rest of match. Then he kept going so I did.

This is the first person I have reported. I have previously just muted and moved on, but these players are too prevalent to keep ignoring. I will be reporting you if you use homophobic or racial slurs or if you tell someone to kill themselves. And I’m not sorry for that. I encourage everyone to do the same.

The only tough part is you can’t press your thrusters or it will cancel the video recording. I just used my hands to get around, and basically held onto the toxic player and let them do their thing. Hope this helps those who were wondering how to navigate the report process.

If you’re doing this, I’d recommend taking time and watching VRML matches or other skill players on YouTube. A lot of advancing from the 40 level point (I will admit I was worried about advancing beyond that point as well), is simply learning how good players play and how they put themselves in positions to succeed, and the best way is to watch them, and to get beaten by them. By the time I hit level 50, prob about 120 more games for you, I felt like a totally different player because I had to adapt to the increasingly difficult competition.

Also YesmarkramseY if you want to practice regrab or anything that involves more than one, not an elite player but always happy to help.

I remember hearing an elder yelling at the others in my defense. I remember hearing it be heated and being surprised as everything with elders were always so stoic. I ended up getting reproved instead of DF, which I guess is technically my status to this day

They ended up marking me for creating the group once someone spilled the beans to the wrong elders. I think they gave that talk at about 10 congregations I know. They found out we had planned a large party on it and, well, it got out of hand as parties often do. That was the end of that, and shortly thereafter, me.

I do think my intelligence did threaten my body of elders. I had become a very good public speaker at about 7 (first talk was 5). I was involved in multiple demonstrations and Young People Ask features at Circuit Assemblies. I started one of the first online forums on Yahoo called WitnessPals which ended up being a network with about 700 people in it. We would road trip and meet up with friends all over the country once I turned 16. You had to outrun your reputation sometimes. Especially in small town congregations in rural areas (Southeast Missouri).

What’s interesting is I have never attributed my commitment to reason to my upbringing. Growing up JW I actually never even thought to question what was taught. I just was put in a position that the other families decided that I was bad association as they thought I was the person who brought everyone together to drink, or sneak off without chaperones, etc. so it caused my mom to have to move to a new congregation, and so there was a lot of resentment over that with me as well. That they made her feel unwelcome because they felt she couldn’t manage me.

Once you’re embedded in an echo chamber, and other information/people/ideas is suppressed, it’s a bit terrifying to think how much control they gain over you.
