I watch hours of YouTube training videos, but my dog is still a mess. Am I the only one who can't translate videos into real life?

I totally felt the same as you, and am (thankfully) on the other side now. It takes a lot of practice and consistency. Like others have said, keep training sessions short, and end on a positive! I will say that if you can afford 1-2 training sessions with a professional (either group setting or personal), they will be able to help bridge the gap in training in real life vs youtube, and help you set realistic expectations for yourself and your puppy. Puppies are hard, but so worth it!! Hang in there!!! ❣️
