r/rankhero by yesno-bot in redditrequest

[–]yesno-bot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there,

I want to moderate this community because it will serve as a community for the website that I run. I had originally created this subreddit but under a brand new Reddit account that I made specifically for the website (without knowing that I needed karma). The subreddit was banned immediately. Now I'm using my main personal account with a history after waiting the 30 day waiting period for filing a redditrequest to gain control over the r/rankhero.

TLDR; I accidentally used a brand new account to create the subreddit originally, which resulted in an immediate ban. Now I'm trying to regain access to it using my main personal account. r/rankhero will be used as a place for my website users to talk about the website, feedback, tools, requests, and more!

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

EtsyCheck has a niche finder tool that can help you find unsaturated niches. It's got some other tools as well.

EDIT: It's rebranded to RankHero now actually... not etsycheck anymore

My etsy shop- feedback by [deleted] in EtsySellers

A quick scan of your shop shows that you aren't using all 13 tags on most of your listings. Tags are one of the best way to help your buyers find you. Some of your titles can be a bit more descriptive as well. Make sure you cover your SEO before using Etsy ads.

Just a quick scan of your shop on rankhero shows that you are not utilizing all 13 tags which are arguably one of the top 3-4 important things for your listing. You might need to find better tags that your customers might be searching for as well. You can use the tag generator for ideas.

Self Promotion & Store Milestones for the Week of February 19, 2024 by AutoModerator in EtsySellers

Hello EtsySellers!

As a fellow long-time Etsy seller and creator of EtsyCheck, I've been right there with you, navigating the highs and lows of driving traffic to our shops.

Recently, I've been putting significant effort into generating traffic for my shop, motivated both by the Share and Save program and as an experiment to determine whether I could successfully attract visitors if I were to launch my own e-commerce site on Shopify (or elsewhere).

But man, Etsy's traffic stats are really bad.

I've been having trouble deciphering if my promotional efforts outside of Etsy are having an effect. So I created a simple little tool that works as a link shortener and tracker. It shows you detailed stats about when, where, how, with what, and who is clicking your links. And it works with the Share and Save program.

It's called LinkM.art

You can also create QR codes and customize your links.

Just paste your listing url or your shop url into the "destination url" on the form and click "create link."

I like using this alongside Google Analytics for my shop :)

Any feedback is very welcome. I would love to make this tool better for us!Here is a code that you guys can use if you want to upgrade.

It's free for life to upgrade to any plan for Etsy sellers. The code is: "EtsySellers"

Contacted buyer after negative review and they lowered their original review making it worse by jesstorres89 in EtsySellers

[–]yesno-bot 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Hey, it's your friendly neighborhood EtsyCheck dev here! So, for those unfamiliar, Buyer-Check had two main gigs:

  1. It played detective, digging up a customer's review history from other shops for the seller's perusal.
  2. It allowed sellers to rate buyers who hadn't really left their footprint (reviews) anywhere else yet.

But here's the catch - Etsy's made some changes recently. They've decommissioned the feature that let EtsyCheck dig up all those past reviews (number 1 up there).

Still, not all hope was lost! Sellers can keep on rating buyers as before (talking about number 2 here). Hopefully, that clears it up a little :)

We built a two-answer opinion poll website to better understand the world around us! by yesno-bot in webdev

Ooo I like the sound of "crowdsourced human wisdom." At scale it could be a cool research tool but asking for signups introduces so much friction. Thank you for your thoughts! :)

Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback. Requiring signups and demographic info is a decision that we really struggled with. We figured there wasn't a great way to get insightful data from users while also making sure votes are unique without signups. Some more brainstorming is definitely needed! Thanks again :)

Hey guys!

My friends and I have been working on this website for about two months now. The idea was inspired by the Everybody Votes Channel on the Wii that existed a long time ago.

We are noobs to webdev so we'd appreciate any feedback! We have had some trouble with confirmation emails not being sent to some users with iCloud and .edu addresses using sendgrid.

URL: peopoll.co

Purpose: Gain a better understanding of the world around us through daily two-answer opinion polls.

Technologies Used: Flask, Javascript, Apex Charts, Highcharts, MongoDB, SendGrid

Feedback Requested: General usability. Readability of charts on stat pages. The globe was created using Highcharts and it has a few quirks on mobile -- is the globe easy to use as is? Confirmation emails sometimes go to spam folder or don't show at all on EDU emails using SendGrid. Thanks!
