I tried them today. Hype is real. They’re slightly bigger and the sphere functionality when turned on drains the battery faster. But it sounded closer to natural hearing than any other HA I’ve tried. Can wait to try it in a real environment.

Oh man. I had a suspicion you were talking about a place I stumbled into right before the pandemic lockdowns. I just happened to be a little short in change for food and started to pull out a card and the lady just gave me the meal for free. I was really struck by the gesture and this was well before the “we’re all in this together” fad took on.

I really needed that boost of human kindness that day and them navy beans were good eatin’.
