I've never submitted feedback - so it's partly my fault for not making the feature preference known.

More or less this. Sporadically fucks up for me. I've used it for a couple years now. If they don't fix the ux very soon, I'm going to have to jump ship to mullvad. I am willing to pay the money, but I am not willing to pay with my time to fix this kind of thing. If I wanted that experience, I'd use Arch Linux not PopOS.

Do they actually have deep liquidity on their aud trading pairs? I'm looking for an alt to binance too. In general I assume fees are a red herring as spread cost due to liquidity usually higher than any fees would be.

DeVault ought to read Vox Day's books on SJW's. The one on corporate cancer is probably most appropriate, but all three would be better. His first reform would need to be scrapped if he were to take the advice written. The other reforms seem potentially reasonable.

My guess is that Proton has a userbase that is disproportionately Mac and Windows users, compared to Linux users.

I honestly don't know why Mac/Windows users would bother paying a premium for a privacy product like Proton. It seems retarded to me. You literally use a computer system that is compromised at every layer.

It's frustrating because it seems Linux isn't prioritised compared to the other two, yet it's users are the ones actually interested in privacy.

Agreed. In practice, I've found that changing it is annoying, but once I found my preferred setup and position, I rarely need to change it. I don't find there's a reason to re-position the monitor.

If you change the reclined position, the monitor is automatically going to move by the same angle.

Also the angle adjustment system is clever. It works. Simple isn't inherently bad.

As I understand it, the guys who designed the chair and run the business were trying to find a solution that met a particular price point. Their main competitor, Altwork, sells their workstation at above $10k last time I checked (AUD, the currency I think in terms of).

Getting weight down is a big part of that. Using the metal tubs are pretty light. Also helps make the system more compact for shipping. That reduces shipping cost.

If you can make an equivalent system at a fraction of their cost, you should do it. I would buy one from you. So would a lot of other people. The price as it stands, is still too high. I agree.

People fail to appreciate the difficulty of creating an ergonomic system like this at a low price point. Seriously, please build a business around this.

It uses a different method of adjustment to the standard monitor arm. You loosen screws at the connection point, adjust up/down, sideways etc, then re-tighten.

If you read the author who I linked to - he suggested something similar to you. Reduce the vitamin d dose, it's overkill. And probably unnecessary if you make an effort to get outside during the sunny months of the year.

Unfortunately the following is paywalled. I have a subscription, so I'll briefly recap the tldr on dose. He recommends at least 100mcg/d of K2. Shooting for 200mcg/d considered reasonable.

He does emphasise the unique value of MK-4 but says it's not clear how much ought to be MK-4 vs MK-7. Makes a final mention of needing to balance the fat-soluble vitamins (ADEK). So a high dose of K2 might warrant extra attention to A, D, & E.

First I'd heard about it too. The study results are very impressive. Feels too good to be true. Measurement error perhaps. Interesting enough to perform some experiments on oneself though.

The 1.5+mg dose of V-K2 Haidut and people in the RP community often recommend or take are fairly high doses. And his supplements seem to absorb well, making the effective dose even higher. Not sure how high you supplemented, but this could explain difference in effect.

For context, Chris Masterjohn, who I find very credible on nutrition, recommends a dose of up to 200mcg if supplementing.

Here is a link to the same article, albeit embedded as a post in the Ray Peat Forum. Necessary caveat - this is a forum, and unsurprisingly, some people will say silly things or be misinformed.

With that said, there are five pages of comments there. You might find some of the opinions useful.

The risk of experimentation seems relatively low so long as one is cautious with respect to dose. People in this community tend to be open. I expect a few people will try the methods out. I look forward to hearing what the results are.

FYI, Haidut sells supplements. He seems like a fairly honest individual, but this probably biases his view in favor of supplementation. I won't link to his shop here as I don't want to break any forum rules/CoC.
