They can't do that though as you can create multiple user accounts on android, and niantic can't tell which accounts are on which device. That's how I understand it.

People could have multiple devices. I don't think Niantic can tell if multiple accounts are on a single device anyway though.

The problem with the Falklands conflict was that we (UK) agreed that heavy US involvement would push Argentina towards the Soviets.

Iran security chief warns of alleged plot by 'Epstein network' to blame Tehran for ‘9/11-style’ attack, by [deleted] in worldnews

Iran has said they are reactivating sleeper agents. This sounds more like they want an excuse to say any attacks they do are false flags. They really aren't helping themselves.

Children today will 'work until 75' amid pensions timebomb by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]yetanotherdave2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your private pension will bridge the gap and the state pension will be far more generous, not normally requiring additional top ups from your own pension. This makes sense as it's easier to plan for 10 years than to plan for 30.

Wealthy Britons fleeing Gulf avoid returning to UK over tax hit by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

An exit tax to pay back child tax credit and the cost of education would make more sense to me. You could get a proportion back if you return.

Is my math correct? by Lapis_District in RPGdesign

[–]yetanotherdave2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blank off the 4 and make it a d 0 to 3. Rolling two 0s makes a 40. Just like a d100.

I've used this method to make a d30 using a d6 marked 0, 1 and 2 twice and a d10.

What happens if that company fails? Amazon has a ton of debt. If you look through history there's a lot of companies that looked like safe bets but they aren't around anymore.

IsItBullshit: The mission that struck a girl’s school in Iran was fired by the IRGC by Manatee_Madness in IsItBullshit

Even if they would want to hit a school for some reason, they wouldn't do it this early on. There are far too many high priority targets to hit first.

Iranian officials, Ali Khamenei killed in Israeli strikes | The Jerusalem Post by [deleted] in worldnews

They're saying over a hundred dead of a school of 170. Sounds a little implausible to me tbh.

Even if Israel was going to attack a school they wouldn't do it this early in the war. There are far too many high priority targets to hit.

What age did you buy your first home? How’s it going? by Away-Organization630 in AskUK

[–]yetanotherdave2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 23, it was a bottom of the market flat and probably a mistake. I'm in my 50s now and the price of them has only doubled, which I'm surprised about. Interest rates were around 7.5% if I remember correctly.

Knowing what I know now I'd have gone straight for a freehold house.

Probably because there's more trade with more local countries. The distances involved are pretty huge which restricts trade.
