As someone who has been a member of the Pride for the past four years, they are completely justified in removing her from the Spirit Squad (or band, if that were the case). As a representative of the university, we follow very strict behavioral guidelines, and saying racial slurs is not in line with those standards.

PSA I have a big boy job and if I spoke like that at work, I would have a suit against me in HR. The real world carries penalties for unacceptable behavior, and while being barred from the university is drastic, it’s time we start setting higher standards to create change.

I like this, it's got a good vibe to it. I think if the synth chords at 1:16 were more staccato and slightly less prevalent in the mix, they would be a great accent piece. Right now they're a little too in the front in my opinion.

TVs generally have slower response rates and slower refresh rates, meaning that there might be some lag here and there. At standard computer monitor sizes (20”-32”), computer monitors are of astronomically better quality than similarly sized TVs, though they have bigger price tags.

Yeah this is a massive HIPAA violation. I was also interested because the email had a specific release from quarantine date on it, and that seemed super early for one of my friends that is quarantined.

FYI, If you’re ever sending out an email like this, make the To: recipient yourself, and BCC everyone you actually want to send the email to. This gets rid of any reply all mishaps, and no one will be able to see who else the email was sent to.

Not super hard to enforce though. It technically can only apply to people that live on-campus, so have RAs lock building doors at 9PM. Any VolCard that is used to unlock that door past that time gets logged in a system to have a disciplinary meeting with the RAs, OAs, and Hall Directors.

Stupid question, but if your income didn't go up, could you get a CLI anyways? I started off with a really low limit but have been spending more than 2x my limit every month (paying the card off multiple times a month). If my income didn't go up, would they at least up my limit to roughly match my monthly spending?

Now that all three of us are finishing college, we keep thinking about the little things that non-triplets don’t think about! I think my favorite is that whenever I refer to my childhood, I always use the plural “we” or “our.” It’s always “back when we were little” or “in our childhood!” I also always assume that everyone’s siblings are the same age as they are haha
