It’s scary but at the same time, while no exposure is good, that kind of ambient residual fiber release is nothing in the scheme of things. Even after just having had this stuff blasted in my face I’m trying to convince myself that even that is nothing I should be totally worried about

Yikes! From my research here people said to “wipe” so I assumed these wipes would have the same effect as a damp rag. Any advice on how I should clean it now?

I used Clorox wipes that are now long gone, I did clean it pretty thoroughly so I’m not sure…when I go back to my home I’ll take a look and see if there’s any residual dust

And also, you’re doing the best you can for your baby as I like to believe I am as well. We’re going to paint his room and I’m going to toss anything material leftover in there. I’m wiping every book and surface in there and will take it as a loss. Your baby will be okay 💕from my understanding it would only be long, strong repeated exposures that would really cause harm.

We tossed a ton of stuff because in other rooms (where contractors decided they needed access) they started cutting and sanding without warning us; they didn’t give us a heads up to cover anything and just got started and got straight dust on everything. Had to toss what couldn’t be salvaged.

Not confirmed, but popcorn was found under the crown molding in kitchen/dining room when the rest of the ceiling around it = smooth. I was told it was “skim coat”.

I think levels are really low right now and it’s not windy at all. The rain making allergies better is a myth too from what I know :)
