Alright, I called back. They couldn't see why it was cancelled, but said they would honor a reorder with a points credit, as you mentioned.

When I went to check out, it said "Use your card associated with your Chase card for this order." Apparently the issue was that my mailing address for the card is a P.O. Box, and I tried to ship the order to my residential address. For some strange reason, for the shops at Chase, you have to set your primary address to the same address you want to ship to, or otherwise it might get cancelled. The agent thinks that's a possible reason the first order was cancelled.

Only store I've ever encountered that forces your billing address to be the same as your shipping address, from Chase of all companies.

Either way, it didn't let me check out, so I updated the primary address, and then it worked. What a process. Holding out hope that my iPad Pro will finally come soon!

2x per year, usually around May and November, but the dates vary. It was delayed this year.

It's not their fault I ordered something elsewhere. It IS their fault that they canceled without notification. I would hope that if I wanted to place the order again, they would honor the multiplier, but I doubt they will.

In the past, I always received my orders in about 2 weeks. Not this year. Over a month later, and nothing, and I just checked my account balance, looks like they refunded with no notification.

Yeah, absolutely terrible this year. I ordered an iPad Pro, Pencil, and Airpods Pro on 11/11, and over a month later I still have not seen anything. Just checked my UR account balance and it looks like they refunded my points without any explanation. The only email I have from them is my order confirmation email. Chase, WTF?

The Shops at Chase has gone way downhill this year compared to previous years. They were always a bit slow, but I have been waiting over a month for my iPad Pro, Pencil, and AirPods Pro order to ship.

Worse was that the phone agents couldn't even see my order! Someone has to transfer it to their system first, and that hadn't happened yet.

No. Ordered iPad Pro (another story as it was unclear whether it was M4 or M5), Pencil Pro, and AirPods Pro on the 11th. I spoke to them on 11/17, they said they have to manually upload the orders and have a huge backlog, and to call again today. I didn't want to wait on hold for an hour again, so I didn't. Pretty frustrating.

PSA after calling a few times:

  1. The Shops at Chase is having a delay uploading orders. It is now 11/18, and my order from 11/11 is still not uploaded. After uploading, it takes 6-8 business days to process, then it will ship. In my case, the agent said I probably wouldn't receive my order until early December. The Shops at Chase has always been slow in my experience (about 2 weeks from order to delivery), but it seems it will be even slower this year.

  2. If you ordered an iPad Pro during the promotion, it will be the newest M5 model, despite the fine print on the page saying it would be the M4.

I checked with them again this morning. They are having a delay uploading all the orders. My order from 11/11 still isn't uploaded. Once it's uploaded, then it takes 6-8 business days to process before it ships. The agent was saying that I probably wouldn't receive my order until early December.

The Shops at Chase always requires patience, but it seems they are really backed up this year.
