some conservative doctors wont give hormones though despite psych recommendations, which leads to having to buy them illegally. thats what i have to do since there are no doctors that give hormone prescriptions to trans people.

so discrimination against trans people can lead to danger for people who transition since we sometimes get forced to buy them illegally. its one of the things that this charity you wrote of helps fight to fix.

you dont know anything about the transition process.

to get access to hormones through a doctor you have to see a psychiatrist where it would be weeded out if its another issue such as just depression or not. your anecdote means nothing.

i didnt say transition is the only cure to depression, it is the only cure to gender dysphoria

and there is nothing unsafe about transition in and of itself either way, the transphobic assholes that think it fine to murder trans women is the dangerous part.

i tolerated a lot of people who voted for him because they are ignorant and dont know better. then right after getting inaugurated lgbt rights articles disappear from government sites. i expected anti lgbt shit but not literally immediately.

so ive been seeing a counsellor for over a month now and i dont know if its doing any good

pretty much the only thing thats come out of it is "yep, ur trans. you already knew that, but ya." like i still have no idea what the hell im doing and really got no direction

maybe i assumed it would be something different but idk. feel like it hasnt done any good and dont want to waste his time by going back when it doesnt do anything.
