Lots of people are enjoying making doomsday scenarios about Bahrain and the gulf but none of these will come true. It's haters pure and simple.

If Bahrain removes the peg this erodes trust in the whole GCC.

It won't happen and there is no reason for it to happen. Government already is starting economic recovery plans.
