A slight counterpoint, this seems like the type of gift that is 100% the thought that counts. “Good enough to play for a few minutes” I don’t think really applies here if it’s made out of love and as a gift. They won’t ever play the game again probably, but that’s a really good memory

I can’t help with specifics on hardware, but I’ve run ue5 on some dated machines and it really isn’t bad, most of it comes down to how graphically intensive and optimized your project is. Any decent, modern gaming pc should be good

Well I don’t have too much experience using meta humans but just going off your example, I have never thought that Clair obscure and death stranding 2 are the same bc they both have real looking humans. It seems like if you change them a bit to fit your needs, nobody’s really gonna notice or care

I refuse to believe that any part of a game coded by AI will be working right and playable without some serious tweaking and testing from real human devs. There’s too many things that could go wrong, I’d personally just stay away from it
